Yes it will remove her symbol to use nail polish remover/acetone. You might be able to melt the glue by boiling her (or at least soften it enough that it will come off). Otherwise, some people use a product called Jasco to deflock G1 So Soft ponies, and that takes the glue off without damaging symbols, so you could try that if you don't want to boil.
ugh :S i haven't bumped into that situation but a lot of my G3s gave glue in their hair :\Good luck cleaning it up! if it works be sure to post a tutorial also, if it doesn't, let us know
Have you tried melting the glue with warm/hot water? I noticed some glue on one of my ponie's hair the other day while shampooing it. I didn't try boiling it, but it wouldn't come off when exposed to a hot hair dryer so I just snipped it off... ._."
