Cute idea and I dont mean to be a complete downer but with Hasbro investing in Kre-O at the moment they probably wont discuss such an idea with lego

Maybe a petition to Hasbro to do something with MLP in Kre-O would be a better idea! After all Kre-O works with lego so it would still work for those interested and HB have already shown they will consider this kind of thing with the Transformers brand....

It's a cute idea, but the Kreo  stuff and Knex stuff are not as good as actual Legos. My oldest son loves legos  and wanted a Kreo set with Bumblebee. It didn't fit together well at all. The same with those Mario Knex sets - lousy bricks.

Now - if it was just the figures, I'd be fine with it -  but if someone  hopes for a playset, it would be nice if Lego was able to create it.

I agree . . . Hasbro is not likely to license MLP to Lego when they have their own Lego-like brand they're trying to promote.

Althought it's a neat Idea it's not something I really like. I'm all for legos but I'm more of a classic lego person and the theme sets just make me go 'eh'

I like the idea, but these are too small in my opinion.  SOME day I'm going to build a larger articulated pony out of legos.  Using ninjago or some other set with "animal-like" parts, faces, "wing", etcs.  MIght end up using some KREO ball-joints.

It pops up on the internet channel for that is about ponies every now and then, people point out the whole company thing (again). Last time, a couple people actually complained the posters pointing out the rivalry were "negative". :C

If they wanted to stick with Lego, maybe they could redo the proposel so the characters are generic MLP-esque ponies that could be customized later.

Couldn't you print these out using a 3D printer if someone makes pony making software? Then we wouldn't have to wait for any company and could easily make any character + customs.

KreO ponies would be cool.  I am a Lego gal myself.  Would be nice if it came into being.  For any of those building platforms.  I am just a pony nut I guess.  I love the ponies but I also love some of the quirky stuff that is made with the ponies.

Any pony + building blocks idea is pretty cool. Do keep us updated if anything gets finalized please!
