Title: Is one a brony if one is an adult but has been a fan since age 2?

So hi. I've joined because I've become interested in restoration and customs, and you folks seem to be a good resource for the kind of info and advice I'm looking for. Also, I'd be happy to share what I have and what I've discovered.

Though now in my thirties, I have been a fan of pony since I was two. Which is when I got my first pony: Starshine. She now graces a shelf in my living room, pretty as ever. I have two other G1s: Morning Glory and Buzzer. Yes, MG lost her wings a long time ago.  ^.^ Once upon a time I had Yo-Yo too, but am not sure where I lost her.

I got back into ponies thanks to Friendship is Magic. The moment I saw Princess Celestia, my reaction was, "She looks like Starshine!" However, Luna is best Pony, closely followed by Twilight Sparkle.

My last project was making a G4 version of Starshine. Isn't that what makes art so awesome? You can do anything you want!

My other loves are music and literature, sci-fi, theology, tea, and cats. I was raised on C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien for authors and Star Trek on TV.

The wingers are so delicate that I'm not surprised to hear your MG lost hers a long time ago.  I'm not sure what Hasbro was thinking when they designed them for kids!  Nice to have you here :D

Welcome! Nice to meet you and I'm glad to know we have another Starshine fan.

And in answer to your thread topic, it all depends on whether or not you want to be a brony. So I'd say yes.

I think the answer is, you're a brony if you want to be one!
I identify myself as a brony, even though I started collecting with G3 back in like....2003-2004, when I was 12!

Next Generation. Picard is Best Captain. My family had a tradition of eating pizza and watching Star Trek on Saturday nights.
