On top of the acrylic paint, you can use chalk pastels, watercolor pencils and/or gouache paint for more subtle details such as irises, eyelashes, thin symbols, highlights blush, gradients etc.. I found that chalk pastels add the very faint color variation that can bring a custom pony to life.

Nope, don't use Oxyclean on their eyes (and symbol of Princess Ponies for that matter), it will ruin their paint. I usually simply apply heat to the neck seam with a hairdryer and work my way around the neck seam with a butter knife. (Or X-Acto knife if you're extremely careful, but it usually ends up cutting through the vinyl so I'm not using this method with my ponies anymore)

I played the hay out of this game when I was little !! I remember it so vividly. The first time I sent my pony over the rainbow, I thought it would unlock a new region to explore. But no, it was the end of the game. I would never see my pony again. That was so heartbreaking !! So, yeah, I've immediately adopted everyone's strategy : play the whole game over and over again without sending my pony to the rainbow. Otherwise, the game is very cute. I like its design, the ponies look adorable and the assets are fun and old, but in a good way. I should investigate on how to run it again. I can't for the life of me find the CD I played it on back then, but I downloaded it on Abandonware I think.

Alonia. It was a gift to a friend, but he turned out to be an absolute POS. I deeply regret offering her. She was beautiful. I have no idea what happened to her now, I cut every contact with that guy. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I mean, it's Fox News saying that.... they make political bull* about anything and everything. I don't think they are of any interest nor factual information. Just my opinion, of course. It's not worth getting upset over them, to me.

She reminds me of Butter Pop, but more fabulous ! Well done. I prefer by far her yellow coat instead of pink and the hair blends nicely. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

If you're breaking your cut needles, you'll have the same issues with reroot tools. Do you soften the vinyl with a hairdryer and do you widen the plugs with a small spike beforehand ? That will minimise the breakage. Take care ! Rose.

Oooh, so that's the one I have. Since you talked about her, I took the time to dust her off. The poor thing needed it. lol. Anyway.. In my opinion, she is somewhat cute. I'm not a huge fan of those with hard plastic heads so I won't probably hoard them or anything. She's still going to chill with me for the day though.
