Rainbow High?

I wondered if Sunny and Luna being sisters was mentioned in the show.  I feel like I miss some of the connections between the characters since I don't watch it.

I love Sunny, but Luna doesn't grab me even though she's basically the same design as Sunny, but in sliver and gray.

I love Jade without the green plastic.  I also really like Ruby and Poppy.  I don't know if I'm going to buy any.  I kinda feel like I need to clear out some dolls.  I just don't know who!

Are the runway dolls the original core characters in their fancy get up? If so I saw them in our branch of smyths today, along with the last lot of RH dolls that have been out already in the US. First time seeing Victoria. I promised myself not to buy any more though until I do Glitch's hair. So I didn't buy anyone.

I have to say Jade was very pretty. I like Jade as a character, but I don't usually like her doll.

I saw some new Rainbow High things today including runway Amaya and Poppy. Here they are. I know some of the pics aren't great.  I have to be really careful about bending and streching right now so I wasn't able to move/grab dolls that were on the bottom or top shelves.

I love both of these.  I've already broken my one doll per character rule once for JH Amaya, I might break it again for this version.  My first RH doll was the Hair Studio Amaya with the platinum hair with rainbow streaks so anytime they release a version of that Amaya she's hard to resist.  I love that Poppy's gown is based on a monarch butterfly.  @Taffeta, are these the same ones you saw?

Oh they look beautiful! Good finds, Ponyfan!


I don't have a Poppy so I'll think about her.   I really want to know if the create own dolls have nice hair.  I think they're lovely and would be fun to dress in extra outfits.

@Ponyfan, yep, those were they, plus Jade and a couple of the others. I didn't see the create your own dolls, but I did see the Sunny and Luna set. It threw me for a moment as Sunny didn't have her hair tied up as she usually does.

I also have a rule about not doubling characters, and I am strict on who I buy, but I do think Poppy looks very nice in that format. I do have the original one though, so probably won't get this one.

I’ve seen these now at stores and I don’t know who I like best. It’s between Ruby and Jade. They have shiney faces. Why?


So series 2 Shadow High went on sale on Amazon.  I bought  Zooey.  She’s really pretty! The tinsel doesn’t bother me as much as I thought it would.  It does help her look more alien. But, I’ll never be able to take down those twists.  I don’t see it going well.

I've not collected any of the JH ones, and the devious twins are the most obnoxious characters ever in the animation, but I admit, I saw their JH dolls in London and they did make me do a double-take. Very tempted.

I have seen the one with the coat and the mint green coloured one. I like her better than Zooey, but I still promised myself no more RH dolls until I do Glitch's hair. Which was 6 months ago + now but anyways. Glitch is still in her box, so no new dolls for Taffeta. Can't have them piling up LOL
