The other day, I found this cutie at a comic shop:

Unfortunately I have no idea who she is! She was sitting behind the counter, loose (unboxed), and apparently she was the last one they had left so they just sold her to me as-is. The receipt lists has as "Cassy Cat Blind box", but I've been googling that and I can't find anything that looks like my girl here (though the Cassy Cat figures that do come up on Google are VERY tempting :silly:). Thing is that neither of the staff working could remember for sure what line she was from... again, she was unboxed so no barcode or anything to scan, they had to look her up manually when selling her to me... and it was like 5 mins before closing, so it's totally possible they just took a stab at the line name and hoped for the best, you know? :x
(I do think she was a blind-packaged item originally though, given that the staff had unboxed her themselves and had her on display; they usually only do that with blind boxes.)
It's a bit difficult to see in the photo, but on the back of her head it says "Mi Angie". I've tried googling that and nothing at all comes up :/
Does anyone know who she is, what line she's from, etc? :) I would love to know, especially if there's any other characters in the line so I can get her some friends :P

According to Google Translate, 'Mi Angie' is Romanian and means 'It bothers me' :lol: I thought Italian but shows what I know!
Any markings on her lower back or feet? Any labels inside her clothing?
EDIT: IS IT POSSIBLE SHE'S A TALKING ANGELA DOLL?????

OOOH I can definitely see it :O Especially her eyes, they're very Angela-esque. I tried googling "Talking Angela doll", etc and couldn't find anything though :( But I think you might be onto something there. Not really the sort of thing I'd expect to find at a comic/geek shop, but you never know!
I just double-checked and nope, she doesn't have any markings or labels apart from "Mi Angie".

It hit me when I was googling and it brought up an Angela image, and the eyes just struck me. It's worth noting that most comic/geek shops order from Previews, and Previews can stock not only collectors vinyls but random pop culture things like Talking Tom/Angela simply because it's part of niche culture. I mean, they stocked MLP things because there was a base for it during G4 and the now I see more G1 things now!
I'll have a dig through Previews later, but you might have something that was brought in for trade or even left behind by a kid :lol:
I googled as well aand the Angela/Tom things I'm finding are not this girl and are more 'obviously' from that line, but the internet is a vast place and bootlegs can be really good!

I wish I could help, but I have no idea what line she is from either. She almost looks like an anime cat to me.

Also I have an extra Mia (second doll in the above photo) that I'd be willing to sell! I opened her box to ID her, but haven't opened the actual bag containing her (the one in the pic above is the one I bought loose back in September), so she's still minty. I'd be selling her without her trading card thing (I'm keeping that - my original one was missing it since she was ex-display) but with the box. PM me if you're interested :) I thought I'd offer her here first before putting her on eBay. (I hope that's okay!) I'm fine w/ shipping anywhere as long as you pay for it.
(also if you do PM me, pls post on here too so I don't miss it, I haven't always been getting notifications for PMs and I'd hate to miss any messages :blush:)
