it's like the playing cards that came out with g1 characters on them selling on ebay from china, all the art was from a talented person from deviantart.

Sent a comment to the person who drew the pony, saying that someone took it without their permission. I wonder if they’re get back to me. It clearly says on their page not for profit. Trouble is people don’t give a damn who they take things from, it’s like that Golden Fredbear and Plushtrap funko they copped them from this YouTube video called March Onward to the Nightmare.

I looked into it and it's apparently tricky to get the products removed on Taobao. There is so much art stealing on pony stuff it's not even funny.

Unfortunately, stealing fanartists' works seems to be a very popular practice among bootleggers. :(

China's laws are different and stealing isn't against their morals.
But it's funny. Not many people care if someone steals from a big giant corporation. But let's face it, that product has Hasbro's IP on it -- and that they DO have the pockets to protect their IP.
But really :P is that a baby scootaloo inhaling Rainbow Dash's hair?

How sad that beautiful G4 flutter pony was stolen from the original artist. This reminds me of the large art theft that happened years ago where someone was stealing pony art and posting it on Facebook as their own.

Definitely eating the hair. Chomp.
I have nothing but derision for the theft. I mean, fanart exists in a grey area bubble which makes it hard for the artist to do much about it. The IP debate and whatever. But it's a low thing to take something someone created for love of a particular hobby or collection or show, without any thought of profit, and then use it in such a callous and commercial way.
And rampantly inappropriate given the generational crossover. She is beautifully drawn. But she looks way out of place. Probably because she's beautifully drawn. I really don't go for G4 art style.

The weirdest / funniest example of art theft I've seen was when some bootleggers lifted fan art of Mettaton (the fabulous robot character from Undertale) as a pony . . . then made a giant inflatable pony Mettaton.
