I like the idea of the pony's name on the page, maybe in a font that looks like the g1 font ^^

My favourite is Lemon Drop! How about some sea ponies, or Ballerina pony (+ ballerina baby)? :D I would love to see what you've drawn later, too!

Isn't TAF Minty also pretty sought after/rare? :)

Also yes, EU Minty comes with a hat ^^ She's so cute.
there's a photo of the pony in box on mlw:

I have her! But I’ve never seen her for sale, not even on eBay. I have no idea what price range she would be in so she is the one g3 pony I just never sell. Even though I would like to :) Anyone have ANY idea on her price range??

I found one on etsy that sold for about 80€ (MIB), but that's te only one I can find right now o_o
you definitely want to sell internationally if you're selling tho, she won't sell for that much within europe. I bought the set (minus dvd and obviously not MIB) from a fellow swedish collector last year for about 25€ IIRC.

Off Topic / Re: Slice of Life - What are you up to today?
« on: June 14, 2024, 12:55:51 AM »
I am stress editing the end of a video today. I had wrapped up filming yesterday, but in editing the outro, I realized long hair + my camera angle + spaghetti strap top looked like I was completely topless... and so, I had to re-film that entire video portion today.
I'm off to the stables later, and I usually have my videos uploaded on Fridays at 18.00 CEST but I doubt I'll be ready by then this time ;_;

Looking forward to some horse cuddles though.

Yes, do what works best for you with your ponies! :lovey: I hope cleaning your talking pony goes well! You could even go for a damp microfiber washcloth instead of the toothbrush if it still feels like too much water.

I have owned & cleaned one. I would clean with soap and water and a toothbrush, but without submerging. Maybe do take out the batteries, yes. (I don't think I did, at least I can't recall doing so... but she also didn't work)
honestly, I never dunk my ponies, I'm anxious about trapping water inside. (but then again, I also don't pop the head off unless it has signs that it's needed.) I just give them a good wash under running water, trying to avoid the mane & tail holes. I also hold the pony so the hair hangs straight out from them when I wash the hair. ^^'

Customs / Re: New Resources?

Good idea BC!

For YouTube:
I think a lot of the popular custom pony videos on youtube are from the g4 era of customizers using nail polish for their FBRs, and even if the finished results look real nice, I would be hesitant to linking tutorials etc that uses that medium.
but we have RetroGeek Crafts doing restoration work (alt rehairs sometimes) and some customs - I haven't looked though, but with the restoration work in mind, I doubt they use nail polish.
I do have a craft channel, and have been thinking about dedicating some videos to Pony at some point. I haven't yet though. If you want, when and if I have a playlist for that, I can link it :)

Ponies that look like a cross between G2 and G3.  They should all come with download codes so that you can download stickers/background pieces  for playsets.  They could also come with download codes for 3-printed accessories or playsets.  Give the consumers more access to DIY licensing - files to use in their Cricut machine, files for sewing machine embroidery, plushie patterns, etc.

I love this idea a lot!!

Off Topic / Re: Making a Swedish Forum

This is simply not true, all we asked is that it doesn't have the same name.
like I told you, you're very welcome to open a new forum, and I think the Swedish community would be happy to have a non-facebook place to chat.
I am very sorry this upset you, but I think it is reasonable for the owner and admin to ask for her forum name, and personal art not to be reused, and I also think it is reasonable to simultaneously move on in life to new things.

Again, I am sorry. But I also want to reiterate that nowhere have we said that you cannot open a new forum.

Princess Celestia, you can still make forums for free.
A lot of the art was made by Annie and Brainshake,
Brainshake and me were admins at the end of Druvdalen - if you want I can talk to her to talk about it, as she was more of the forum owner and I personally feel like it would be nice to at least have a chat about it :)
You could also ask for opinions in the swedish facebook group. There are a lot of us that miss Druvis, but chances are it won't come back to life just because it's back online, unfortunately.

BC - I know builders like Squarespace have drag and drop features. There's always some youtuber who has a deal on it, but I haven't looked into how expensive it is to run once that offer runs out. Best of luck with it.
