Thank you so much to everyone who attended today and those who helped from afar to make the meet a success again! I appreciate each and every one of you so much and hope that you had a great time. I am exhausted and took about three pictures, I think, but I hope that everyone else got some good ones. Hope to see you all again next year!

Hey, that's me! G3 is the gen I dread, to be honest. My G3 collection is nearly complete, but the patterns are a nightmare for match purposes. While I'm not willing to share site login info since it's linked to my Google acct. and other sites, I am always happy to accept match submissions using the form or any of the contact methods on the site.I'm currently very busy with back-to-school on Monday, back-to-work on 09/09, the SWPA Pony Meet on 09/07, editing My Little Wiki, as well as some ongoing health issues, but I hope that I'll have more time to devote to the match site soon!

Excited to have you back!

We're just under a month out. Registration will officially close on Sept. 1, but PM me if you need to make special arrangements to let me know later than that.

I referenced it for release info for the Hair Matching Guide (probably still have a lot of things wrong, but I'm doing my best), and I didn't find anything major that I can remember. If anything, it would be nice to have the ability to enlarge your photos by clicking/tapping.

G1 and G3, while nostalgia definitely plays a part for me, are attractive because of their variety of characters (not counting Core 7). According to the MLP Merch count of G4 "brushables," 679 of the 1034 releases are Mane 6 or supporting secondary characters. For G5, it's 99 of the 121 releases. I don't want to keep buying the same character over and over. (That's what Barbie is for.) Quality is also far less than G1 and G3, though both are not without their flaws.
Like Taffeta said, Hasbro has to be willing to let go of its G4 cash cow and fully embrace a new generation and fresh design that is not at all attached to Friendship Is Magic for the brand to have a chance at continued success. Right now, it feels like they're just dipping their toes in with G5 and keeping G4 alive as a fallback. I always felt that they let G4 fans - we all know which ones - have too much influence on the show's and toys' directions.

Not a fan of either pose, but I chose Buttons because she's part of my childhood herd.

Zig Zag because she was my first Pony Friend. Cutesaurus because dinosaurs are awesome. And Baby Hoppy because kangaroos are cute.

It wasn't uncommon in those days for collectors to pull it out of their G3s. I remember several collectors detinseling because it was just nearly impossible to tame.

Topher's family announced on his Facebook profile today that he has passed away. Topher was a longtime community member and a friend. I am so sorry to his loved ones.
