I love the smurfs! Me and hubby rewatched them a year ago. I also love the live action animated movies! I even have their version of A Christmas story on DVD :).

I used the last of my iTunes money to get the "I'm Just Ken" ringtone for my phone.

This was going to be a complaint but it was resolved as soon as it became an issue.

I bought some handmade linen and cotton pillowcases on Etsy. They were all on sale, something like 80% off. I think I ended up buying 6 cases and my total was only $30. I had stumbled onto the seller while looking for linen fabric, so I never dealt with them before. It has been a while and my cases still weren't ship or even in pre-transit or label created or anything.

I was checking my email and got a notice from Etsy that this seller closed their store and was no longer a seller there. I was about to get mad, but in the email Etsy had an 'open a case' button. I clicked it and filled out what I needed to, not a whole lot. I submitted the form and like 2 minutes later I had a refund

They had an option of sending a message to the seller so I said it was lousy of them to close up shop and not honor the prices they set. I figure they decided they didn't want to sell at the discount price and it was easier for them just to hide than fulfill the sales.

I'm bummed out I'm not getting my pillowcases, they looked really nice and he had interesting colors you don't find often. I'm glad I got my refund though and so quickly!

Seeing the lilacs bloom in the front yard always makes me smile.

Lilacs are a sign of summer here. We had a snowstorm this morning. I can't wait for lilacs

My sister planted a lilac bush at our old house. She could never get it to bloom. It did bloom after she passed away, I took a picture of it :)

What's making me smile is my shrimp :inlove: I like seafood but I never liked shrimp or lobster. Now if I had eaten shrimp I wouldn't anymore. They are fun little guys. :)

I found two packets of Fazers Crunchy caramel & nougat chocolate! in my candy cupboard. It made me so happy I wanted to cry! I was out walking and was thinking of going to the store and buy a new chocolate bar but decided against it as I was cold and wanted to get inside.. finding chocolate already home made my day!

I was able to buy a new (to me) car yesterday.  Still bummed that the last one was totaled by someone else but I like the new one so it's not all bad.

Hooray for a new car!

I mustered up some energy yesterday to iron a clean white tablecloth for our dining table and dig up some Easter decorations (a pair of flocked clay bunnies I bought at Flying Tiger years ago). I'm not religious but doing seasonal decorating lifts my mood, and so many Easter traditions are pagan anyway... The white tablecloth brightens up the whole room and together with the decorations makes me smile every time I enter the room.

Congrats on the car! I'm glad you were able to find one so quickly :)

I slept and slept and my foot and legs are actually normal. For now there's no pain, but I know the longer I sit at my desk the worse they'll get. On the plus side, I found a company that makes compression wraps for people with edema. I'm thinking of getting the calf wrap and the foot and ankle wrap for my right leg and foot.

edit: Look at my cute little custom sign from Etsy :lovey:

Same here! ^.^ I also have decorations for Easter (bunnies, eggs, chicks...), I have goodies for this season and I make and send cards.

Pokeyonekenobie, congratulations on your new car!  :iconclap:

BC, that little sign is perfect and cute!  :lovey:

When I go out to a local monthly meeting expecting snacks & get a whole meal!!! Quiche, pitta bread, crackers, a thing called matso (there were loads of them), assorted veggies, rice, loads of cheese, some dips, grapes, & assorted other munches!!! And still & fizzy grape juice to wash it all down with, & several cakes to follow!!! I had two platefuls of munches excluding the desserts & matsos & it was all yummy!!! I even got a doggy-bag home!!! (And I didn't have to pay a penny for it)
