I admit, I am obsessed with G1 pony packaging. But all this is too much even for me xD.

Thanks for sharing the picture, justinb. That's clearly unique for Canada...although I guess if these showed up in France they'd be in similar?

I still don't think that it's a quantity of bilingual box issue because if it was, the UK would have the bilingual ones...and we don't. We have the English only ones that surely should be in Target stores in the US...

Let's see so far for 2 sets of retro ponies we've seen

Original box style-comb placed above pony sticker advertising poster and comb
Original 6 box version 2-comb placed next to pony  extended plastic window, no sticker advertising comb or poster but still included.

Original 6 box version 3-Bilingual box featuring French and English comb placed beside pony

Rainbow pony box style 1- Bilingual English and French

Rainbow pony box style 2 English only

I haven't seen a unicorn pesagus box yet in person.

So that's at least 5 different box styles we've seen so far,

I'm hoping to find the rest of the Rainbows and the unicorns Pegasus soon.

Don’t forget the OG 6 with comb above and 2 cardboard sides, and comb above with 1 cardboard side and one window side.

Finally got my hands on Starshine.  She seems to be the Rainbow Pony who goes first.

The rainbows are selling regularly around here.  The collectors are starting to warm the shelves.  I suspect the unis and pegs will be coming soon and the collectors will be moved to Clearance.

But I've bought a pony, Bridge Direct.  Can I get Wind Whistler now?

Congrats Al!

I keep dropping by Target, hoping to find the Unicorns / Pegasi.  No luck on that front yet, but I spotted the bilingual Rainbow pony packaging today!

Also the Rainbow ponies are selling out FAST.  Monday they had all the Rainbow ponies except Sunlight (single-language boxes);  by today, two days later, all those ponies had sold out AND they only had three of the bilingual package Rainbows left (Sunlight, Parasol, and Windy).

I visited a Super Target and they had the full CP and Rainbow sets, plus a second Moonshine. I forgot to check for bilingual packaging, but I hope I can be forgiven as I had just left the dentist and hadn't eaten yet.

Still no sign of the uni/pegs.

I've spotted Rainbow ponies at both my local Targets (all but Moonstone, the last one I need! :( ) that have restocked at least twice... I fail to see why Amazon hasn't restocked yet if Target can keep them in stock? Still no Unicorns or Pegasus ponies at any of my stores. These rainbow ponies are really selling out fast. The struggle is real!

I've been able to stop at target Tues and today, and no new rainbow ponies OR unipegs. I do have 4/6 CP still, but it looks like demand is down so it's not worth picking up to distribute to ponyfriends.

Went to Target today and they had the Collectors and Rainbows. No Unicorn/Pegasus set. Didn't really see how many of the Rainbows they had since I was trying to be fast, but I bought Sunlight since she's the only one I don't have the original version of. I plan on going back in the next couple weeks to get the rest.

AAAAAAAAAAAAHH! Finally the wait is over! Prisma in Finland has them!

Regular English boxes, cost 19,90€ ($23.10). They had six of each ponies.
So I only have money for one per month. Uugh. Atleast they are going to be little cheaper at Kärkkäinen, although they have only three ponies listed.

Windy and Sunlight were on the shelf with other ponies.

Yay for Finland!!! Congrats Carolina-chan! Though they are expensive :/

And English boxes...this is all so muddled. I am now waiting for someone in Paris to find English only just to complete the weird....

Zapper, Einhornbaby or anyone else in Germany - any sign in stores there?  I remember Germany was listed in Basicfun-s original announcement for Europe. ..

My sweet boyfriend snagged me Moonstone. He was supposed to wait until I could give him the cash.

Of course Target is overpricing crap as usual. Nearly 16 bucks for 1 pony after sales tax? When I could get them in the single digits on ebay? Screw that! I thanked him and told him I'll get the rest on Amazon. Heh I owe him $ for Moonstone though.

I wonder if there was some kind of mixup at the factory and the wrong boxes went to the wrong places.

Yikes, how much is your Target selling them for/how much is your sales tax?? The sales tax in my city is 9.9% so one 35th anniversary pony ends up being $10.98, with the price before tax being $9.99. How on Earth are you having to pay almost $16?
