I left a G1 at thrift today :cry:

Normally I have a "No G1 Gets Left Behind" policy at thrift.

But G1 Cotton Candy was SO SMEELLLLLLYYYYY.

She had a very toxic sort of Moth Balls chemical smell!  Just holding her for a few minutes made my hands stink!!  I had to go wash them!    even her hair smelled very badly. 

CP isn't my favorite pose either.. so I put her on a high shelf in the toy section where only grown ups would see her.   hope someone else has the guts to buy her and detox her!

Yuck! I'm sure someone will be able to help her detox eventually.

I left some G1s behind at a flea market today. Lickety Split, Glory, and Moondancer all had sever highlighter marks (not from pink bridles and saddles, but an actual highlighter) and they were also nearly brown! I hate leaving G1s behind, but I couldn't bear to look at them any longer.

I hate leaving ponies behind. Though, I only do that if the pony isnt what I am looking for or maybe because of the price. :/ Depends on the pony.

Oh I hate that feeling!  I’ve left g1s behind at the flea market because I ran out of cash and their ATM stopped working  luckily it was some common ponies, but I still felt bad..

That would be hard! But I would of not of been able to buy either with my asthma!

It's always sad to leave ponies behind. I've started leaving behind ponies if they're common doubles. :/ It's sad but I hope they go to someone that will appreciate them.

It’s always sad to leave poor ponies behind. But just think. By leaving her, someone else has the chance to find her and give her the makeover she needs!

Oh gosh - sorry!! I have yet to have that happen to me because G1 are really hard to find here. In three (nearly four) years of second hand store, toy fair and charity store searching I have found... two. And I bought them both with tears of joy in my eyes. But they neither of them smelt like that I must be honest. I'm sure a Brave Soul will rescue her.
