She looks to be the same pony Ed had up on Ebay  in Oct of this year, has the same mark on her face.

There is a lot of variation, especially in the Body Colors but looking at the differences in the Veny Tootsies quality of batch coloring did not seem to be a major concern.

It does not even appear as if they're faded, there was just no colour quality control with them. "Yellow" seems to have been an umbrella term and anything that looked it was okay with them.
Sure makes for some very unique and bright ponies, though. I love the differences. ^.^

Also the color is not even many times on a pony

I wonder what their manufacturing process was like. How did they mix their colours? How many ponies would they make from one batch? Did they make one full pony from a colour or just a bunch of heads and then bodies? It would explain a lot. :lmao:

yes mine is the same one ed had for sale a few weeks back.
Well apparently the hair color and body color varies greatly with each pony shown there.
Some have the pinkish magenta overtone and some have a medium red.. Mine has a deep cherry red..
Yes it does make them more unique that each on is slightly different.

I think I like her with the cherry red hair best!

They are almost like the Colombian ponies as there are so many colour variations and combinations. Each pony is almost a OOAK!

That's funny PKW, I was thinking the same thing, especially with how the body materials are never quite the same either.  How cool is that if everyone has a OOAK Veny just for them.

I have just verified with angelponies that whizzer218's pony came directly to angelponies from Ed and not through ebay
so I am updating my Veny List to show
6 yellow AJ's with Red or Dark Red Variation of Hair.

Angelponies now owned by whizzer218

I think this is why I have given up trying to keep track of them and the Colombian ponies. You could drive yourself quite crazy trying to track everyone down for your collection!

It makes me wonder what it was like in the factories?

We know that they only had a limited guide to selected year two ponies names and symbols (and basic back card art). So perhaps they just went with whatever colours they had in the machines that day? Or Perhaps in order to get more mileage out of the designs, they just went wild with the colours they had? Well I guess it work for us nirvana collectors who've got to have them all!
