How to display advent calendars
« on: April 01, 2013, 12:52:48 PM »
So I'm nearly done with my pony room and one of the last things causing me a headache is my sizeable collection of chocolate MLP advent calendars.

I don't really want them pinned to the wall (too many and not neat enough) and sideways on the book shelf doesn't really do them justice.
So I'm just wondering if anyone else has theirs on display and how you do it? Whacky outside the box suggestions welcome too ;)

Mine are just stored under my bed with most of my other pony merchandise - sad, but I don't have space to display everything!

Do they still have the chocolate inside?  I've found the chocolate tends to all fall down to the bottom of the calendar and create lumps and bumps if you keep them upright.  Sorry if I'm stating the obvious, just something to think about.

Oh gosh what an interesting display!

Hmmm....it maybe depends on how creative you want to be and how many there are. You could created a clear plastic topped table which has a very narrow shelf - then display the calendars on the shelf, the plastic protects the calendars and you can use it as a table as well. You could switch out different calenders over time to change the display.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi
