MLP Comic 224 and 223

[Deep Purple Crystal]

Does anyone have any information on these two issues? if you own either of these, could you scan the whole thing in?

I know I wouldn't be much help because I'm not a comic collector, but perhaps if you provide more information you'll get more of a response. Are these g4 or g1 comics? It seems like a bit of work to scan in a whole comic, plus copyright laws. What is it you want to know about them or are you just hoping to read them without buying them?

Actually, they are G1 comics, and they featured the Seven Tales characters. I'm sure someone has at least one of these.

I dont have those later issues Have you tried doing a wanted post, I am sure someone would have those issues for sale but they will probably be more pricey than the earlier ones

Oh, I forgot to get back to you about which comic I have. Mine is missing the cover, so I have no idea which number it is. But here's some of the things inside:

Clover's Class (story about Clover fumbling through a ballet class)
Rockin Beat Ponies (picture finding game)
Teddy Takes a Trip (story about finding treasure on the beach)
French Lessons (story about a foreign exchange student coming in)

Is this one of the ones you're trying to find?

I wouldn't be too sure anonymoushoneycomb about someone here owning them, these comics are not only exceptionally hard to find but very valuable. In fact they are the rarest of all the G1 comics. I think you are asking a lot of someone to willingly share the entirety of something which has such a value. Over the years I have only ever heard of 2 members on the Arena who have seen, owned or touched [] these 2 comics. 

I would really suggest, as per Party's recommendation, that you post over in wanted and keep an eye out. Or perhaps you could start a thread to share some of your own comic scans and then you may find it easier for others to join in and share their own?

Actually, Teddy,I have a special identification key for your comic. True, I  have not got that one. But, what colour is Teddy in your comics? That will help identify it. Also, does your comic have a coming next time on the corner of the Pony Land Postbag in yours? If it doesn't, it's probably 223 or 224.

Teddy is the correct colors in this issue (blue with orange hair). I've seen comics where he's red, so weird! Anyway, for the "Pony Land Postbag" do you mean the page with drawings and letters kids have sent in? If so, then this is what it says on that page:

"Next month's My Little Pony and Friends comic is our fabulous fiftieth anniversary issue! It's full of fun, excitement and adventure and lots of things for you to make and do. My Little Pony and Friends number 50 is on sale from 13th August."

I'm confused because there's no way they were doing these comics for 50 years. How was it their 50th anniversary?? lol! Anyway, I hope some of that info was helpful.

Hey, that's number 49 of mlp and friends! The cover featured Melody and the Rockin' Beats and it says :Meet Melody's Rockin' Beats-inside!  Which explains the matching game.
I think here that you have a very rare comic with you. 49 was the third to last And Friends comic and scans would be very much appreciated. 
 By the way, all my Teddy comics feature a red Teddy, it is really funny! Ace was in the comics too, and all mine picture him with a green body and red hair. Lancer was light blue with orange hair in mine.
Your comic is not one I am after, but I still really like yours.

Oh, and by the way about the anniversary, I sdon't think the advert was very well worded. MLP and Friends ran for over seven years. It meant the fiftieth issue .

Issue 223 of the original My Little Pony comic never mentioned a 224, it just told you that the MLP comic was ended and that the stories will continue with the My Little Pony and Friends comics. Not sure if there was ever a 224 but that's all I can gather from 223.

Also I don't have time to scan it all in. I might have the cover I saved from the auction, but that's all I can help with.

I know KKV mentioned having seen a 224 in the past - thats the only reason I am sure there is one as other wise I know its been mentioned that 223 does not advertise another issue.
