It just dawned on me this pony seems to be modeled after the g3 mail order sunshimmer. Would you agree? Only this is a g4 unicorn version where the g3 was earthling but hey they didn't make many unicorns and I think sunshimmer came out before they created g3 unicorns. I own both and am wondering how hard to find is the g4? I lie both because the yellow red combo is great. Kinda like sunburst

I thought the same thing! I found a Sunshimmer at a Value Village a few weeks ago, and when I looked her up on Strawberry Reef, the color combo and name made me think of Sunset Shimmer

I had to look Sunshimmer up on Strawberry Reef, and she is very similar to Sunset Shimmer! I never knew she had a g3 inspiration. I thought "Sunset Shimmer" was a just play on "Twilight Sparkle".
