They didn't make me dance. All I had to do was follow the instructions on how to "make the heart beat". Perhaps the activities vary from store to store?
I was still embarassed though!

I had fun-- two of the staff were wearing pony shirts-- but I still couldn't help being a bit embarrassed. That having been said, I love my BaB Dashie. And YEESSSSSS: if I had to pick any pony to come out at the store next, I'd love to have a Fluttershy.

If so I want Fluttershy and Rarity next!

And I  hope if they do Twilight they do better eyes than on the other FIM plushies. All the Twilight plushies are so horrible. I don't understand why Hasbro can't get the ponies eyes right and the same as in the show. Why do they make the licensed plushies look like the toys instead of the show? Just seems weird to me.

They and the related FIM BAB outfit, seem to be selling well. So I hope they make more.

Oh god. I'm pretty sure my girly squealiness shames everyone I'm with when I actually go out, but that would be death for me. I have terrible social anxiety! I've never known you had to do that sort of stuff there... O_o

I bought the ponies this past week, and it was my first BABW experience.   The sales girl didn't make me do any dancing, or shout stuff out, but I did go through all the heart preparation.  When she told me rub the hearts on my forehead to make them smart, I refused, since my forehead was all sweaty from running up several flights of mall stairs, but otherwise I cracked a lot of little jokes along the way.   Like when I went to rub the hearts on my ear, so my new friends would always be there to listen... I started to rub one on my right ear and then went, "oops, that's my deaf ear, gotta use the other one!"

I have social anxiety too, though I have been working on it.   I still avoid a lot of public places, most of the ones I go to are ones I go to a lot, that are smaller, and that I have sort of built up in my mind as "safe" (still feel panicky a bit).   So going to the big mall was something I was trying not to think about too much.  I managed okay... aside from feeling immensely stupid running all over the mall trying to find BABW (I inverted the mall in my mind, so went down to the bottom floor instead of the floor it was on), and then babbling at the sales girl, nervously, throughout most of the store visit.   Oh, and nearly having an automobile accident exiting the parking garage (I had right of way, but someone else was being super impatient, and tried to pull in to the street in the lane I was occupying).

Yes they already confirmed there will be a further couple...although they havent confirmed which - from what a couple of people have been told though it would seem to be Twilight and Fluttershy. But those are rumours from store staff rather than confirmation.

And what you did sounds so much fun BBP! It sounds like you had a blast - awesome!

I think it depends on the person but they do suggest you to do little things for the heart. It's what makes the whole experience fun! I've gone through the process 3 times with girl scouts once alone ( I won gift cards for their scholarship process). Actually... donated 3/4  Rather than rip them open for the barcode and sew them back up I wrote in sharpie on their tags Do not send back!

Wow, those are some impressive rituals!  When I got my Pinkie Pie at BaB the worker just had me choose the heart, make a wish and kiss it before inserting it in the pony.  I thought that was really cute.

I'd gladly do that.   "The BAB sales minion commands you to..." My response to the whole thing is, if a kid half my age can do it. So can I. You only live once.

I hadn't been to BAB since I was about 10, so when the guy told me to jump up and down to start Dash's heart, at first I was kind of like '...uh..' But then my boyfriend was like 'Come on, you gotta do it!' so I went through the whole heart process and jumped up and down like a champ and it was actually really fun lol. My boyfriend did it too when he made Pinkie Pie. It was cute.
