So far I think I would only get the plushies. These toys are just disappointing. They look skinnier than g2 ponies and I can’t ignore it anymore. I wanted to have some hope in g5 but i think I’ll skip the toys.

Yes the hair in the photos so far looks so amazing! If only the expressions on the G5's wasn't so... like, the lights are on but nobody's home, ya know?

If the hair is decent, I may be persuaded to get a couple, but the faces are still bothering me a lot.

I love that second pic of Uni's especially. It really is like that.

On the wings, I never really thought about G1 wings as being folded or unfolded...that's a kind of odd thought for me now :) Obv. G1 had the flutters and wingers which were more emphatic as well. I guess they are half folded? So poking up but not extended? Hrm.

It would be awesome if they made a toy (obv. a special feature one) with extending wings that unfold and fold back in. Thinking of the EQG Sunset Shimmer doll who has that kind of feature, so it's not completely out of the realm of possibility.

The normal plushes are actually quite cute and ponyish.

The singing one...I feel like I want to get that G4 Chrysalis toy who laughs maniacally and introduce them.
