As for my latest acquisitions I'm waiting on SS Lagoona and some fashion packs to get here and am in the process of getting Clawdeen's bunkbed to show off my girls.

And I've been drooling all over those Operetta pics! Can't wait to get my hands on her! Also I'm still hoping that someone will manage to find Cupid and Toralei's and Spectra's fashion packs for me. Frankie's shoes look amazing but I'm really not feeling the top.

Also, stop posting your gorgeous SS Lala pics. I'm on the verge of becoming a Lala collector and I'm trying desperately to get myself to either sell one of the 4 (!) of her that I already have or not buy any new ones. It's getting really hard though. Curse you, gorgeous dolls!

As for Clawdeen + Howleen, I like Clawdeen's outfit and I'd want Howleen just for the novelty of a tinier doll, but I'm really not feeling this Clawdeen.

My boyfriend managed to get me 1600 Clawdeen. He was looking for Draculara, but he couldn't find her. I was thrilled anyway because that was one of the first things I saw when I woke up from my surgery. My doctor and the nurses were amazed that he was carrying her around the hospital outside of a bag. I love my boyfriend.

This raises my MH total to 8. I am still working on fleshing out the basics and getting more Dracularas.

My Nefera has really tight joints, to the point that I'm afraid to bend her knees. I've been trying to loosen them up a bit with hot water and a little coaxing but it's not doing much. The ball at the end of her forearm peg also snapped off in it's socket right out of the package. I wasn't even trying to remove her arm and my heart sank when I heard a snapping sound.

I used a little clear nailpolish to tighten the connection and it stays in just fine. It doesn't bother me too much, since most of my older dolls don't have the ball to keep them in anyway, but it's still something that worries me with future releases.

I just scored Operetta and Nefera myself... and my Nefera's arm snapped as well. I was sooo bummed!! Right now I have her arm raised in the air to keep it inside the socket (it will fall if I lower it down). Ugh! Will Mattel do anything for people over issues like this? This is the first one I've had... and on the gorgeous Nevera, too!

Aside from that, OMG Operetta is amazing. I am so happy to have her in my hands.

It's good to hear the fashion packs are showing up in Australia
I also have a monster high custom question, I want to sculpt over the front part of a dolls face and sculpt some new ears but I don't know what material to use since their heads are so squishy. Are there any good products that work well on MH heads or should I steal the head off of some other poor unsuspecting doll for my custom?
