Nothing new for ponies though. But oh well, walked out with a few new MH dollies!

I expect they'd be out soon in the US... ^_^

My area has been so slow on getting ANYTHING. D; So who knows! LOL

A few pics of the differences in Abbeys. I finally took pictures to note the differences between my Abbey and my sister's Abbey. (I have, thank goodness, a 1st edition and she has a second edition)
Major differences:
-Eye: 1st Edition has wider (better imo) eyes
-leg warmers: 2nd edition has two differnt sizes and they won't go down over her boots
-skin/skintone. They are two very noticibly different skintones and 2nd edition skin is rougher than the 1st
-stands. 1st edition has a light blue stand, 2nd a periwinkle color. I like the periwink color better

I plan on doing a blog post with the Abbeys later tonight.

As of NOW the Skull Shores Abbeys are the same as the 1st edition Abbeys though mine is still a later one with the teal stand.

And now for the MOST exciting part of my boring post?

I have noticed the differences as well in the Abbey's, as soon as I saw pics from the ones in the Toralei assortment, I thought they looked different. I'm pretty sure they're from different factories, so it's just differences between the two.

Alaso, my original 1st edition Abbey has the periwinkle stand, not the teal one. And I feel like I've only ever seen periwinkle - it was her box color after all, an they used to match those colors for the signature. Are you sure you didn't mix it up? Or perhaps yours came with the wrong stand?

I found operetta at my local target.  I squee'ed when I saw her.  my husband was slightly insulted that I don't squee like that when he walks in the room

You know, it could well be. She was sent by a friend of mine deboxed. She could have mixed the stands up I suppose with one of hers. I never even thought of that. I figured it was just another difference. And yep, I know it's the factories but I thought I'd photograph the differences for the curious.

Today Target had Toralei, Operetta, and Nefera.

I picked up Nefera, and she's gorgeous, but I'm having a little buyers remorse, honestly. :/
She's awesome, I just dunno if I reeeaally like her... But seeing Operetta in stores disappointed me a little. Her hair is just as crushed as I'd imagined. ):

ANYWAY... I also got Toralei, and changed my mind about her the minute I got her.. She's looovely!

I found my Operetta the other day at Target. I was taking her penical lose to wash her hair out and it was broken. I also went to get her stand out of her box and she didn't have the long piece that goes into the bottom part.
