You guys make it sound fun.

I swear that if I walk into a store and see Windy and co on shelves in the next few weeks I might just start crying at the nostalgia of it. And then probably get escorted out by security without ponies, but you know.

They said Spring. Spring is coming. O.O

Getting to the store early in the morning right after they've restocked seems to be the key (they never have any ponies by the afternoon!)  I'm sure that will slow down as the frenzy dies down a bit

I hope Target carries the Peachy set!!!!

That is a good sign for the continuation of the line, but you have to wonder how many of these are being bought by ebay scalpers because ponies are "collectable"?

It is annoying to think of scalpers but on the plus side it could work in our favor for the perceived "popularity" of the line.

Well, the Elton John Spring Basket glasses will do if supplies are short ;)

There will be Rainbow Ponies O.O. My crystal ball commands it! xD

@Sunset -  this is true, although it's taking away ponies from kids who might otherwise really take to them. And also from collectors who really want them.

Besides, when you're overseas and already have to factor in shipping, it's insulting to see a seller jack the price up to $35 when you know it's $9.99 plus tax. Ebay fees aside, that's just morally offensive. Thank goodness for Arena people...but not everyone has that option.

I am already dreading the cost of Medley's set if they DON'T come here. Unlike the US, it has a bigger impact on people overseas because we have no guarantees of getting anything yet :/

I just hope that Arena and other pony fans can stay patient and strong and just wait for the ponies to get re-stocked rather than pay the $35 price- !

I got lucky and paid $15 before shipping from an arena member.... before my Target restocked. Patience is key. Stay string, everyone!

It would be nice to just have firm yes no confirmation of what will be sold outside the US. Reality is even at store price cost we have to pay about $35 per pony including shipping so it would be nice to be properly informed.

So who do you think are the most popular sellers? I've seen a lot of youtube reviewers with Bluebelle and Cotton Candy.

Good question -- at least around here, I'd say Blossom and Cotton Candy are the hardest to find. Cotton Candy is harder than Blossom. I feel like it's a repeat of the 1980s -- most moms? little girls? buyers in general? want the pink and purple ones. I can't blame them. Cotton Candy is really pretty, with what looks like fading pink hair. I didn't intend to at first but when I finally found her I kept her along with Minty because she's so cute.

In my area- Minty Cotton Candy and Blossom sell out first-

I don't think it's the colors so much as those are the ponies that so many of us had first as kids (at least, that is why I bought Minty and Cotton Candy first-  CC was my first pony ever, and Minty was my sister's pony)

I am also much looking forward to Peachy-   I LOOOOOVED that set and still remember how sad I was when I lost the door at the beach one day...

Popped into Target again and an obvious restock of toys occurred, no 80s MLP though. How frustrating, why didn't I get my butt into the store in January. GRR! Actually I want the experience of getting them in store, I don't want to buy them online. lol. Still only Butterscotch.

No time to stop and ask a worker if they had any in the back not put out yet either, or if they'd be getting more, been stuck in work 12 hours a day and it makes it impossible.

I think it's also more likely that more people will remember Blossom and Cotton Candy over the other four. I can't speak for the US because you guys had a bigger push on the first six, but Blossom and Cotton Candy continued in Seashell and Bubbles' set and it's highly possible they're more memorable because they hit 2 years or so of store release and then the mail order as well.

Blossom looks very purple from the pictures I've seen. Surprised me given how faded out she usually is.

I still think Snuzzle and Minty look the nicest though. Even though I have the least connection to Minty as I still haven't worked out how she was sold here bar import :/

It will be interesting to see which Rainbow Ponies sell most quickly. In the UK, while Windy and Moonstone have been recent focuses of merchandise, there's been a huge emphasis on Starshine (fluffy PJs, fluffy socks, socks in general, phone case etc etc) so I wonder if that will have an impact. I only had Windy as a kid but I remember other kids having Starshine, Moonstone and Parasol. I never remember Skydancer or Sunlight in the collections of my childhood friends so it will be interesting if they sell less quickly.

I think Sunlight is the one that comes up most often MOC from the UK so that also means she sold less in stores, probably. Curious Taffeta is curious to see what happens, but strongly suspects Starshine will be a strong seller.

(Not to mention all the collectors who want one that's actually white O.o)

I always figured Blossom and Cotton Candy sold best out of the original six (in the 80s), as they were the only two brought forward into the second year (sold in the set with Moondancer, Medley, Bubbles, etc) and also the only two given official babies.

Now personally my favorites are Minty and Butterscotch.
