Yes they are the 35th anniversary retro Carebears. There's a better pic of them in the Care Bear thread in the Toy Box.

I love the artwork on the box and I think it might be based on one of the mail order pamphlets but I no longer have mine to check.

Retro Care Bears....all this stuff make is great to have been an 80s kid. Bear in mind, no pun intended aside from making money. This gives people who were kids back in the day to now own something. Maybe their's was donated or they never had one at all. My family couldn't afford one so I never had a Care Bear. I had knock off one, that I loved dearly but not the same.

It's really wonderful to see this! At least from looking at the pictures, it really feels like G1s are back in stores. The 25th anniversary three-packs just didn't give me that feeling. I really hope these do well, and that we get to see something more come from this. Doesn't the Retro Strawberry Shortcake line include a few items that didn't exist in the '80s line but are still in the same style? It's really exciting to think about what kind of things like that they could do for MLP!

No luck at my Target today, but hopefully I'll be going back tomorrow!!  I figured it was worth trying a day early to get the best shot at having a full set to choose from.  I plan on getting one possibly two of them. 

My brother goes to school near a BIG Target so I can possibly convince him to check there after his winter break if I continue to strike out at the Target near me.  It seems like he's over there five times a week anyway since half the time when anyone calls him he says he's in Target so surely he'd be able to give me a hand

Hmm, I just got back from Target and no luck. I guess I'll have to try again in a few days. I DID find reproduction Holly Hobby colorforms from 1975, though! $10! That was an awesome score I wasn't expecting! They also had repro Strawberry Shortcake dolls, but I didn't get any of those because I was never really into Strawberry Shortcake. I might go back and get one for a friend, though.

I'm gonna be doing a target run for the next week. I have no clue when my Target will be setting out new toys, but the worker I asked said sometime next week.

So I was able to find a set at one of my Targets, employee had to go to the back but they had them! (really glad they didn’t seem to be street dated…) I grabbed Minty because I could only afford one and don’t wanna miss out, haha.

I do have a question for anyone who has unboxed Minty specifically (though maybe it’s happened to any of the others). Part of the tail on mine is super orangey/yellow. Anyone else’s been like this?? She is great otherwise but I didn’t notice it until just a bit ago and I haven’t been able to try and clean it because of the cold.

My boyfriend was working today and has been lying to me all day! I sent him the DPCI code someone posted here to check their stock, but he said they didn't come in yet. He just got home and surprised me with the entire case, still in the cardboard box from the factory! Today was such a horrible day otherwise, it is such a needed pick-me-up.

I didn't know who to unbox, but I decided on Blossom. Because I just realized that I don't actually have a full set of the original six ponies (??) and the one I'm missing is Blossom! Apparently I've got Lemon Drop in her place in my collection, lol. I just assumed LB was one of the original six.
