If I was to describe Mimic's colours in terms of anything specific, it kind of makes me think that she's the colour of one of those chalky fizzy sweets if they made one in lime or lemon/lime. That's a really unhelpful description, I know, but she's always felt like that's the kind of colour she is.
I've seen her colour described as chartreuse, neon green, yellow-green, pastel green, pistachio.
I am not sure which of those is most applicable...
Maybe I'll get mine out with some similar shaded ponies and see if I can create a pony rainbow.
She's definitely not yellow. But she's also not a convincing green either. She's...Mimic-colour.
Edit -ok, this is a super bad picture because the sunlight in my room doesn't want to be cooperative, but the closest colour match I found was the blind bag pony sitting on her leg. I don't know the name, someone else will - but her colour, while slightly greener, is the closest shade to Mimic in my collection as far as I can see. I'm only sharing the picture so that someone can ID what the blind bag pony is, if it's helpful.

Rarity and Rainbow Dash are in the 2nd wave of them so that's probably why you are having a harder time finding those. I'm not even sure if they have been spotted in the US yet. Twilight should be easy though! I'd check Walmart for sure!

I've never referred to them as G3s. Never heard anyone say that except you for the first time. Its the style of the pony, that determines the gen, not the year they were reintroduced and these and the 25ths are in the original style, or close to. Not old characters done in that specific gen style.
Repros are reproductions of a thing.
Retro is a returning style or thing that's been updated.
These are reproduction G1s. Majesty had been blinged out, so she's a Retro G1.
Didn't I say they were retro? I'm referring to people saying that they're actual G1 ponies. They aren't, and I'm not sure why some collectors are up in arms that they're "decreasing the value of G1s" because they aren't G1s as typically identified and agreed upon by the community at large. If Ford produced a Mustang today that were identical to the original 1965 Mustang, it still wouldn't be a 1965 Mustang. It wasn't built then. It's a current model in the 1965 style, a tribute, if you will. So even asking if this is the most rare G1 ever can lead to incorrect info making its way into the community as fact when it isn't, as some of the incorrect info that still persists to this day has done.
In the original poster of the pictures defense he just buys toys MLP for his daughter (he has told me MLP are very rare or impossible to find in China so and the only way to get them is by buying stock from factories) and sells extras he buys in bulk on a little online toy store He runs. He’s probably still learning the ins and outs of MLP and the correct terminology. 😅 I do agree that it is important to distinguish between the two though. 🙂

TBH the first thing I thought when I saw the picture was why does one person have 3 SDCC Majestys when so many people couldn't get her at all?
This person is from China so he bought some straight from the Chinese factory, which explains how he ended up with a production test.
