Welcome to the month-long Equine April Drawing Challenge!

Post and show off your own Equine art in this thread!
It's currently week 4, which means Sea Pony Week! It is also the final week of this challenge, thanks everyone for joining so far! :lovey:

You may post as many drawings as you like, so long as they've been made for the challenge.

Rules:

:heart: Draw one (or several! Draw as many as you like) image using at least one of the prompts for the week!
You may draw one for every word, or use all words in one drawing, but you just have to use one prompt in one drawing to join.


:heart: It doesn't have to be Pony!
Your art doesn't have to be My Little Pony. It should be Equine though. OCs, horses, anthro, or MLP are all good!


:heart: There is no requirement to join every week.
We would of course love to see your art for all the prompts, but if one week, or two, is all you have time or energy for, that's totally fine, as this is a relaxed drawing challenge.

:heart: Posting your art online!
Post in the Pinned challenge thread (it will be posted on April 4th, when the challenge starts) when you've completed your drawings!
You can post them anywhere you like online as well, as this challenge will be a cross-platform (Arena + Instagram) event.
If you post your art on Instagram, make sure to use #equineapril and tag the mentioned accounts (@shaiyeh.art and @mlparena)  to be story shared!

Here are my two drawings.

In the first are baby ponies Rattles & Dattles and their friend the little bunny. They sleep in the clouds and dream of cherry blossoms.  :heart:
In the second picture, a pony couple find a sleeping kitten.  :snicker: This was just a quick drawing, I spent more time on the first one.

I managed a drawing but haven't had a chance to color it, maybe later!  Anyone can color it if they want.  I combined several of the themes  ^.^  I've never drawn a baby dragon before but now I want to draw more??

We're starting Earth Pony Week tomorrow, and I can't wait to see what you guys come up with for it :D (but feel free to post week 1 images as well ^^)

Here are my two spring drawings.  ^.^
For the first, I spent more time and for the second, it was a quick job.

In the first, Tulip is waiting for the rain to stop with the bees. One of the bees is in danger, as a large drop of water is about to drip from an umbrella!  :scared: :snicker: (It annoys me when the camera flash slightly falsified the colors.)

In the second drawing, we are in a homely atmosphere and relax by the fireplace. The rain doesn't bother this pony boy.  :D

Oh, I was the first one this Pegasus week. I already thought I was the last.  :)


This image shows either dawn or dusk. Each viewer is allowed to think and decide for themselves which one it is.
I showed the drawing to the niece and she said: dusk!  :)
I personally think that night is coming and Starry Wings with her friend Hedgehog are saying goodbye to the sun. Night butterflies fly towards the starry sky.

(Once again, the camera slightly distorts the colors. I am also annoyed by the ripples in the paper. >_< )

Yes, Fancy mermaids absolutely count! as well as g4 sea ponies, or IRL seahorses... you can even make up your own species.  if it's equine and aquatic, it's fine ^^

Neat! I've actually never painted with watercolours before. But I love how they look. I got a set for Christmas though, so maybe soon!

I'm super late but here's my drawing
My boyfriend asked me to draw a boy pony, so I drew one. Together we also figured out that it would be fun to turn him into a koi fish inspired mermaid pony (I had no idea what colors to use when I was sketching).
