I want to check whether this is a genuine Takara, or fakie and what her current value is?

That's a fakie.

Authentic babies only came in two color combinations (yellow and pink -- pink and purple). They have Takara stamped on their bottoms which is clear. And they have a U shaped neck joint.

They are actually very sought after, even though they are fakies :) prices vary from $15-30 depending on who is looking and what colour way the Baby is :)
