I've never really liked them, something about all that hair turned me off from them, but recently, I have been SWOONING after them! It's like a disease and I must have them! Show me pictures of these long haired bright beauties please!

ooooh....this thread will make me jealous I know it!
I have been on the hunt for the accessories of these ponies now FOREVER and alas I have had no luck.....I am thinking about offering up my puppy, my car and my left kidney for them...although probably still have no luck!! lol

Wait... does relcelestia's pony have more red in her hair and symbols than in Sakuyamon's? Is she a variant or is it just the lighting? ^.^; I don't know much about these girls...

What kind of accessories did these girls come with?
A shooting star comb, a tiny little bow barrette and a large fabric bow with streamers...super cute and incredibly hard to find!

I don't have pics but I bought a bundle of ponies at a flea market and when I got home and dug to the bottom of the bag, I grabbed a clump of neon orange frizz and janked out one of the dirtiest ponies I have ever seen.... Highlights! After a whole day at the spa and a lot of scrubbing she came up so
Minty and bright white, all the dirt must have protected her from any permanent staining or yellowing!
One of my happiest pony finds ever as the bag also contained Baby Diamond and several Italians all muddled in with a heap of fakies.... I got 18 ponies for $6 including these beauties!

One question guys, my childhood Ringlets, pictured above, has a significantly shorter tail than some here, and yet, i´m certain I´ve never cut it (I rarely did anything to her hair).
Any thoughts on that? :O

Maybe the hair snapped off at the ends if it became brittle from play?
I have a question, if you can use flat irons on a pony mane, could you re-crimp one of these beauty's?

nope, I always treated her very gently because of her hair, and the ends are perfect.
as for you question, i´m pretty sure you could. those things work pretty much like hair straighteners, right? Just have to be careful not to hold it for too long :)

Red Roses! I was never really into the PPs, but once I saw one in person I realized how fun and fluffy their hair really is! I had to have her, but it was a long search.

And my streaky has beautiful curls, it just took a little time and quite a few straws to clean them up! I just adore her :)

UGH! I need highlights. It's decided I must have her now.... Whats the current market price on these girls? It looks like Highlights comes up much less than Ringlets?

No, no, no... you don't want Highlights. Yuck. She's hideous. Seriously. Most ugly pony ever right there.

Okay, okay. She's great (pun, hurr). I've been searching for one for about a year. The last one that popped up on eBay went above what I want to pay - I'm cheap. She's usually a $25+ pony, unless you get lucky. She doesn't show up often.

They do tend to run lower on ebay uk as they come up more often and you will get the non international shipper...
However, they dont pop up as much as you would hope. Ringlets is certainly more common [probably that pink thing lol!] - you should get her in the $20-22 range if you are patient but Highlights normally pushes closer to $35

Apparently I have no "good" picture of Highlights. Ah well. I can add her when I get back if you want. The only random note I have about her is that the white-looking streak is...not actually white. It's kind of a veryvery light yellow.

Highlights is the last euro I need. While I love this thread for the pictures I'm dreading the extra competition for her. It seems like after a pony or set is discussed in a thread their price increases and they become more desirable for a little while. I'll just have to wait for any hype to die down. lol!

Thanks always what happens lol! I was looking for an upgrade of Melody when the Tales ponies were incredibly popular in the middle of last year...auctions were crazy for a while!

In the early 90's I was a stupid kid and crimped several pony's hair.. :blush: It worked well and no accidents happened. It also kept the hair from getting frizzy (if I have to find something positive about my actions.. :P ).
