US buyers from MyLittleCustoms - just a question?

Hi I hope I can ask this here... there have been in the past, threads about issues with different hair supplying websites, and I was just wondering if anyone who lives in the US who has ordered hair from My Little Customs could tell me if they had good experiences? I am hesitant because it's expensive shipping, etc... but, want to be sure. I try to do research but most of what I found in my search of the Arena didn't give me answers. Just looking for some "customer reviews"? I guess, so I can be an informed buyer?

I'm not in the us (obviously ) but I have ordered from them twice. Service was great, shipping was quick, but hank weights were all over the place in both orders (done a couple months apart). Quite a few as low as 11 grams. I only ordered the second time cause I wanted tinsel and it's free shipping on orders over 25£, so that's a good thing!! I'm on the website now, and they only state a weight for saran. Oh, and I got sweets with both my orders, so that's always a plus!!

shipping an order from them to me in germany was good too!
I have to admit I never put the hanks on a scale ;-) they looked alright to me though.
Everything was like I ordered - so perfect.
shipping was super fast and I know if you have a question and email them they are pretty quick with replies too.
they defintely are my no.1 choice - especially if you need your stuff pretty fast.

I've ordered from them and have no complaints I would (and will most likely) order again when I need any of the brilliant colors because they're the only ones who have them besides DH.

I should say though that I don't know about hank weights with them... it was a while ago before all of that went down and have since used the hair - but I don't recall thinking the hanks were thin

Were the hanks you got at least enough to do like one adult G1 pony mane and tail? Even at their smallest?

I'm very new to ordering hair so I only have experience with DH sized hanks for MLP... and I guess not even the "older" hanks, just what comes now, but it's enough for my uses. I just like to expand horizons, and yes very tempted by some things that MyLittleCustoms has and would like to become a customer.

How long did the order usually take to arrive for the people that ordered from other countries? Was it a very long time? It took MONTHS for me to get some "hair" from China but that's not the same, so... I'm trying to forget that experience.

I have heard from people in the US and Australia who have ordered from MyLittleCustoms, and are happy with the customer service and hank size. I know that the owner of MLC was made aware of the hank size issues with DH, and was planning on making sure that her hanks were the proper, larger size.

At any rate, I have not heard of anyone having an issue with MLC

Their website states to use 2 hanks for a mlp, but length and size if plugs alters that. I think I normally get my order within 10 days, I know it's quicker than Dollyhair plus they are on fb, and regularly update any issues on there.

i order hair from there all the time and for it to get to canada always seems to be a shorter wait than with DH

Well, on a couple notes - Good because I ordered 2 hanks of the one color I wanted, haha, so that's a plus! and 2nd, good to hear about the UK to Canada ship times - I've been having good luck with packages going and coming from overseas like INCREDIBLY quickly lately, it's REALLY odd. I did not pay the extra money for the signature shipping though because the hair itself was so much more than I normally pay (gonna be so worth it though!) so, I am very excited. I definitely like the variety I see in all the different hair sites.

No complaints from me either. I have always found my little customs to be a great hair supplier and I've always had good experiences with them. I can't say I noticed problems with hank weight but I don't generally weigh the hanks as I'm too keen to get using them

I'm in the UK so can't give an overseas opinion but I can say they are always really quick here!

I'm in the UK so can't talk about international postage from MLC BUT I can say that when I first started customising I used another supplier and wasn't particularly thrilled with the service or hair but then someone told me about MLC and I haven't looked back..... their hair is gorgeous (I'm an addict and have a box full with every colour of the rainbow and more - and yet I still buy more just because its so pretty lol!) and I always receive everything super fast.

I also haven't weighed hanks but the packets are always really full and I can always rehair a G3 (I dont' tend to do G1s) easily with a hank if I go just one colour mane and tail (tho I often mix and match and blend to my hearts content).

Awesome service too if ever I Have a question about an order etc

same here, in from UK but I've heard great things from international buyers MLC have great quality stuff and are really helpful and nice people ^,^

I ordered from My Little Customs once. The hank that I received was very large, and I was quite satisfied. However, the overseas shipping was pretty expensive... I actually had it shipped to my boyfriend in the UK, who shipped it to me.
