That's great news!!! I am so happy she was not able to screw you out of your money and items.

Hopefully Paypal/Ebay will be able to shut her down soon.

Im happy that you got your money back! Though from the sound of their letter, it seems like you both got your money back. They did say that they "covered the chargeback", which makes it seem like they just reimbursed you for it without reversing it entirely. Still, money back is good :)

That was my interpretation as well, they've done that for me before, where they reimbursed me for money I lost and didn't take it from the buyer. :/

It's good that she got the money back, but it sucks if the buyer got money too.

Did you post the buyer's username anywhere in the thread?  I might have missed it . . . Anyway, I would like to know it so I can block this user from bidding on my items.   What a lowlife she is!

I'm sorry you had to deal with that.  :(  As for the feedback, eBay no longer allows sellers to leave negative feedback for buyers, so all her buyer feedback will be 100% positive no matter what.  (Makes me question what the point of buyer feedback is.)   She probably only scams once in a while, not on every item.

Does anyone know why sellers can't leave honest feedback anymore? Seems kinda slanted to me... :/

Whew! I'm so glad you won your money back.  It really sucks to be scammed out of your money.

LadyM her ID is cristallynnd.  I just looked and her account is now NARU. So whether ebay shut her down or she did it on her own free will I have no idea.  But she's gone.

They changed this back in 2008. It was to clamp down on the practice of tit-for-tat feedback between buyers and sellers.  Ebay felt with the old system that buyers were afraid to leave honest, accurate feedback because of the threat of retaliation.

Sooooo...(Heir solution was to take away the rights of their sellers to leave honest feedback? Why hasn't anyone come up with a better solution by now?
