Hasbro's missed opportunities?

On the way home from the fair, I was talking to my spouse about different ponies and I mentioned that they could've done a sports lineup set.  I said they could've had a bunch of sports represented. This mainly came because I wished they had a tennis pony that I could give her.  They could've had Tennis, Hockey, Baseball, Football, Soccer in the lineup.  I need to play on a pony generator and see if I can make a good picture of some of them.

What other sets do you wish they'd done? Can you think of any names for the sports ones I've thought up? I thought..

Love or maybe Volley - Tennis
Grand Slam - Baseball

A sports set would have been awesome, as long as the football one wasn't a cheerleader by default.    4th Down would be a cute name for one.  Hat Trick for hockey, Wickets for cricket, Alley-oop for basketball ... would have been cute!

I've often thought about this. There would probably be HUGE licensing fees for Hasbro to use specific sports teams' logos or colors for mass production though. I want a rugby Pony! Her name would be "Ruck" of course. I need to get better at customs so I can make one. I picture a cute little scrum cap, knee socks, etc.

A hockey pony would make my day.. Lol I don't watch it but it would look interesting- a pony with a black eye lol

As someone who lives in Bills and Sabres country, a Football and Hockey pony would have been great.  We already have the Big Brother ponies for some of these, but I like the idea of a sports set.

I think Home Run would be a good name for a baseball/softball-themed pony. personally I would like to see an archery-themed pony, thinking bulls-eye would be a good name

Would love to see a 'swimming' pony. (Normal pony that enjoys swimming, and has a swimming cutie mark) G1 would be stunning. Maybe called 'Make - A - Splash' Pony.
Could have been released in conjunction with cereals as a 'collect the tokens' kind of thing, and MO, so send off for her. Could have been done to encourage water sports, and encourage young children to learn to swim. Or maybe they could earn their first swimming badge and then qualify for a free MLP 'Make A Splash' pony. Whoa. THAT would be amazing.

A martial arts pony would be really cool. I'd love to see names like Karate Chop, Punchy, or Hi-ya.

Hockey is my favorite sport. I'd have loved at the very least sport themed ponies. Heck even nature theme ala Mountain Boys. Would have been great.

Or more sets like the party pack (minus the party undies).

Well, we had Quarterback and Slugger.  But girls play sports too!  I guess we had the Tennis ponywear, but a Tennis pony would have been great.  We had Glitter Glide, the figure skating pony, in G3, and Ace in Tales had a soccer ball for his symbol, wish he'd gotten a toy.

I remember loving 4-Speed the Truck Pony, but I wanted a Pilot pony too.  So...Where's my FiM Spitfire?!
