I'm waiting on a 10 dollar payment for a pony on eBay. The pony sold on the 16th. Today is the day I can leave feedback. I sent them an invoice reminder and I'm hoping that will do the trick. How long should I wait?

I would also send a reminder message to pay within 1 week. You need the money :)

At this point, most people will pay within 24 hours. I'd probably give them an additional day but I would not expect them to pay at this point especially without contact.

If it's been a week with no contact, I'd call it. Since you sent them a reminder, I'd say give 'em another 24 hrs and then if there's nothing by Monday, get eBay involved.

Okay, thanks everyone. That really sucks because it was my second sale.

I've been noticing this a lot lately, it's happened 2 or 3 times to me in the last couple of months. I tend to give them a week and then cancel the order.
do eBay actually do anything about it though? Like does the buyer get in any sortof trouble for bidding and not paying?

Totally agree agree with this, any genuine bidder would message if they were going to pay late with whatever reason maybe going on.
I personally only allow 48 hours for payment before assuming the person is a in paying bidder
