Ebay seller's brother OPENED my MIP Birthflowers?!?!

It does not really seem like she was trying to make more on them. Even if she got a higher offer on one, she could have just said that one got opened. However, she apparently gave SCO to others, taking significantly less money than the original high bid. However, if there were all opened, she should have made that known to anyone she gave a SCO to.

So I opened a claim against the seller, which  looks like I will have to cancel....
I really need to learn how to read better... and not get overly excited about second chance offers.
In my defense, the message was microscopic and I had to go looking for it.
Still no mention of her brother, just that she "noticed" the package was opened.

I don't know if I feel worse now or before.
I feel like a complete idiot, this is hands down the worst experience I have ever had on ebay.
It's been a very long time since i've been this embarrassed.

Bummer! Well, maybe you could spin it into something good! Re-sell the pony or trade up! There's no point in feeling upset about it...some things that seem horrible at first have a funny way of turning into some amazing stuff! Maybe someone on the forum here will see your posts and set you up with a real MIP birthflower...who knows? But you'll see, it'll all be good!

If I were you I would ask for a partial refund saying that you didn't see the small message. What a total mess and the seller is obviously lying! The yobviously didn't notice that the pony was open while they were taking it to the post office :S

Actually, looking back at her completed listings, it kind of looks like they were opened before the pictures. The ends of the bag are folded under the pony...

Yeah that one on top looks open. How do you just "notice" that? I just don't understand MIP and MIB collectors though. I don't know why you can't just keep her in the bag and display her with the hole of the bag folded over or something. Either way you get an unplayed with pony in its original bag.

It's about the fact that sellers need to describe their items accurately, so that everyone can make up their own minds. Whats acceptable to you might not be to me.
If this seller has indeed tried to convey that these ponies were in fact opened, then that's a horse of a different color.

Whoa, try not to feel too bad about it, we have all done it, and by the sound of it she wasn't exactly upfront about the fact that the pony has been opened.
And if the pony has pindot I feel you might have a case against her anyways.

Fox has a point. If your pony has pindot mold.... well, how could it be exposed to that in a sealed package? The seller says it was 'recently' opened.... because she just noticed it. Well, mold says otherwise. That pony line were in bags, right? So, it would have been a plastic airtight baggie. That means those ponies have been open a while, to develop noticeable pin dots.

Yeah Pindot certainly doesn't happen overnight. I'd be letting her know that you know darn well what shes up to! That the two of you know each other, and you know what she did!
