Shipping question- Hong Kong to USA

Still no updates from the tracking. This is beyond annoying. There is no way that a package should be taking this long to cross the ocean. It's like it just disappeared off the planet.

The pathetic "tracking" system for the USPS has not been working accurately ever since they started trying to track everything a month or so ago.    *hugs*  How frustrating!

It's possible that no one bothered to scan it. My last four parcels are supposedly still sat at the border customs but arrived with no problems! I've also heard domestic mail in the US can take a while (someone I split a box of figures with had her package sit in NY for around 2-3 weeks before being delivered to her!).

And this is why I always use EMS-  it is only a couple bucks more and even if it takes longer than expected- at least I've always known exactly where the package was at all times.

I normally only use EMS but registered was free and I really didn't want to go through the hassle of waiting for an invoice. Oh well, live and learn

Thank the postal gods, it showed up at my post office today!! Love my post office No one scanned it at customs or anywhere else. Stupid postal service

For any future items u buy from hk allow 3 weeks as that is standard. If you get items sooner thats wonderful...but not standard.  Shipping internatonal is taking a lot longer than it use to.  I am seeing a difference in my wait times everywhere, but Canada.

If you would have read, I was worried the tracking did not update at all once it left Hong Kong. I'm aware how long it generally takes to arrive. A week to leave china, a week to customs and then a week or so until it arrives at my house.

I agree that international shipping does seem to be taking a LOT longer lately!  Probably related to cuts in service and jobs...
