Hey, this is Lina! I'm 29 years old and living in Germany.
Some of you may know me, I used to be a mod here, but I've been absent for almost a year. I had to fight a huge lot of personal issues within that time, but hardly a day has passed when I haven't thought of my pony friends. Now I hope I can make a fresh start here, that you'll forgive me for leaving, and maybe you'll welcome me back to the arena.

Welcome to the Spring and Easter Swap 2012!

Aren't we all sick of winter now?

So who's in the mood for a spring and easter custom swap? That could include flower ponies, weather ponies, bunny or chicken ponies... all the things you'd like to see to make the winter go away!

We could also name it the Winter Wrap Up Swap...

Dates:
 Sign ups: February 19 - March 2
 Partners assigned on: March 3 or 4
 Check in: April 15
 Shipping: April 23-27
 
 
 
Rules:
 - You must have 10 feedbacks. If you can not provide all of them through the Arena feedback system, you may use 1-2 ebay feedbacks.
 (- For swap newbies: you must provide at least three feedbacks from ebay or comparable sites)
 - You must have been an Arena member for at least 6 months
 (- For swap newbies: you must have been an Arena member for at least 3 months)
 - I will do my best to match the swap partners by skill. This is not officially a skill based swap though, so I don't want to hear any complaints! ;D
 (What I WILL definitely do though is pair up newbies with newbies, to give them a chance to build up swap feedback with each other.)
 - Ship on time! If you can not make it for some reason, PM me as soon as you realize you will be late. Please don't ship early either.
 - I need to see pictures of your completed custom before you ship. Please send them in to me by April 15 at the latest, which is the official check-in date for this swap.
 - Let me know right when you ship your pony and when you receive one.
 - Do not let anyone know who your partner is! This is a secret swap and this rule is important.
 - Extras are strongly encouraged. I think everyone loves easter sweets or nice stuff that goes with the season!
 - Do not use any fakies or babies unless your partner requests it.
 - To make sure you read the rules, please put "bunnies" into the subject line of your PM!
 - As per Arena rules, you must be in no more than 2 other swaps, and must be over the age of 16.
 - Please keep your shipping receipts until you are sure your pony has been delivered!

My partner for the official holiday swap was JoshsPonyPrincess, and here's what I made for her! I really enjoyed making this pony, it's the first time I made a sitting one, too. Though her hair gave me a hard time, I kinda like how she came out. The sculpted part look a little more three-dimensional in reality, somehow the camera flattened them...
The sculpted parts are made with apoxie sculpt, there are gems on her forehead and the back of her saddle, and she wears a custom dollyhair blend.
