side by side photos of the new "Crystal Blind Bags" from I believe Target with the Wave 4 Crystal Blind Bags Core 6?  I want to see if there is any real difference between then to warrant buying it to get the green boy.

I'm very curious about this as well; I'm planning on getting the rainbow collection and would love to know if I'll need to pick up the glittery/crystal mane 6 in the later waves also or if they are the same.

I didn't buy this set but I saw it today and I can say for sure that Pinkiepie and Rainbowdash are darker than the blindbag versions.

Pinkie, RD & AJ are a darker colour than the blind bag wave 1 versions but in keeping with the blind bag wave 2 darker jewel tones...does that make sense?

Do they all have green glitter? The sparkle main 6 I have are covered in green glitter which I never see in any photos, I think it's weird but it's grown on me.

it is quite true that the Wave 4 Blind Bags are way darker and more "jewel toned" then the Wave 1 & 2's, but I need to find out if that set is different enough to warrant chasing it down.

 I have both Wave 1/2 and Wave 4  and shall get side by sides of those later tonight if I can but for now I need to get to work. Blah!  LOL

Pinkie Pie from wave 1 Blind bags is WAY different than Pinkie Pie from the rainbow Target set. I couldn't believe it when I put them side by side! Blind Bag Pinkie Pie is a bright bubblegum pink (or maybe baby pink would be a good term, you know the shade people buy when you're expecting a baby girl.) While Pinkie Pie in the rainbow set is a deep bright neon magenta color.

Rainbow Dash has a slight difference, but it's not really noticeable unless I'm looking right up close. RD from the blind bags is more of a sky blue, while RD from the rainbow set is a darker shade of blue.

Twilight Sparkle looks exactly the same to me. If I put the two in a box and shook it up, I wouldn't be able to tell which I got from the blind bag and which I got from the rainbow set.

I'll try to take some comparison pics with my phone when I get home tonight, if no one else has put them up, but my cell phone takes cruddy pictures.

I don't own any of the blind bag waves except wave 1, so I can only offer comparisons between PP, RD, and Twilight.
