Fakie ID - Who is this deer-like pony?

Calling my fellow Fakie-Enthusiasts! :D

I found this little guy on a fleamarket in Germany last weekend. He came in a lot of fakies and G3.5 and I only noticed him when I got home and sorted out what I had found.
He gave me a good laugh; isnt this tiny little tail wonderful? And who could resist that face? <3 Awww. I think he looks a little like a deer, but he has got horseshoes, look at the pics! A little strange, dont you think? His belly says 2009 China, nothing more.

Do you have any information on him? Like a MOC / MIB pic or something? Thanks in advance, now on to the pics!

appears to be form the lanyard zoo line but I have never seen a deer! I love her *grabby hands*

Oh I've seen these in one toy shop! I have the warthog named Tulip, because the idea of a pretty purple brushable warthog amuses me.

I collect vintage fakies; simbas, crumpet-pose, Buddy L and anything of original G1 poses :) If you have anything like that for trade, let me know. I have a good amount of other fakies for trade too (maybe I should make a trade thread...)

That is so adorable! And obviously someone doesn't know deer anatomy at ALL. Which makes me wonder... I wonder if factory "errors" ever occur because someone in the factory is sitting there thinking "This doesn't even look like a horse! Why am I wasting my time on this thing?" (I know, unlikely -- in most of those factories workers get paid per piece, so they don't want to make mistakes!)

But still, looks like I've found another line of toys I might want to casually collect. :D
