I think the possibilities are limited to:

83 Glory, Moondancer:

If color has way faded (likely)- other possibilities are Twilight- ('83)

84 unicorns were  Moonstone & Windy-

I really think it is Glory. I took the photo to Photoshop and increased blue colour and took everything else down. It shows the pony's mane/tail is blueish. Maybe this helps?

Maybe we can eliminate Glory though because she has a dark colored tail- and doesn't it look in that picture like a color lighter than dark purple?

Is the mane pink or is that just fingers? Because at the elbow it looks like the tail is hanging down and looks darker, as in I don't see much of a light color...it's dark...another reason why I'm kinda thinking it might be Glory.

You know what? In the Rainbow Bright photo - I think I might be holding TWO ponys. I THINK I have a summer wings pony behind the white one. Its pink with blue hair and blue wings. What year did the summer wings come out?

At least on my screen the tail looks dark purple/blue in the middle picture. In the other pictures it looks a bit lighter, but in my opinion, Glory is still the closest match from the options we have.  :wonder:

And when playing with colours on photoshop, it wont recognize any other colours on the pony than white and blue.

Guy, guys, I think I've found the solution! One of these ponies has to be Krisgoat's childhood pony, so if she buys all the ponies she's bound to get it!

All joking aside, Glory and Twilight seem to be the closest matches IMO. Krisgoat, have you asked your family members if they remember anything about her?

Only thing I might disagree on if it's a summer wing or windy wing this picture would not have been taken in 1983 or 84 because summer wings didn't come out till around 87/88 I think.
Probably doesn't own a stolen piece of the Taj Mahal.

I don't think I see what you are seeing?  Yes- summer wings/windy wings came out 87-88-  but I think the last year for Rainbow Brite was 85-86-  seems unlikely you'd get a RBB doll then?  Can you tell how old you are?

Looking through the later unicorns - I don't see any other raised leg ponies that match the picture (don't look like TAF or SS)   - maybe it was glory and the flash bleached out the color.

I know the color leaches out of those old photos something fierce- my kid photos from that period look just terrible.

I think it is Glory also.  The body looks very white and the hair does appear to have a bluish tinge to it.  Maybe your best bet is to buy one of each (they are not too pricey as ponies go) and hold each in your hand and see which calls to you  ^.^

I;m going with Glory.  She washes out in a lot of the old photos I've seen her in.  She isn't a fakie...you wouldn't have been that happy! (or maybe you would)
I blame it on poor resolution and the lack of digital camers.  And the fashions of the early 80's.

I agree! Glory came on a much bigger card- if you look at how she's holding the card with the pony, there should be a more rounded plastic bubble, shaped more like the pony. The card should be about the size of a piece of paper, but this card is about the same size as the pony bubble. Though I WISH it was Glory, seeing her MIP always makes my heart jump a little bit.
So I think she's a Remco pony, and a beautiful one at that!

This is so much fun!
Thanks so much to Calico_Star for her beautiful work on my Avatar!

My first thought was a Remco pony as well.  Especially in the photo where she's out of her package, she looks exactly like the one I had when I was little.

I think it could be Majesty or Glory. But there's many white ponies with glory pose and I get confused.
