Anime?

I finally got my copy of Sailor Stars part 2.

I tried looking for it before but I kept finding a completely different anime.

I've watched the first 4 episodes of Diamond no Ace. I like it so far. Does Zeno's va also voice a character in DnA?

Yes, he voices a pitcher called Kawakami Norifumi (aka Nori).

 He's actually the guy in episode one or two being yelled at by the very loud batter.
 He is in the series more after that. You can sometimes hear Zeno in his dialogue!

We can always add that to the PM discussion with Yona and Furuba xD

As for Haruka, I do remember the US had a DVD release some time back but I think it's pretty difficult to find the DVDs now. I had half of them from the US release when it was out but I had to complete the series by buying second hand discs when I was in Japan, and ditto for the movie, so you might struggle to find it as an anime series unless something picks it up.

I got really excited when I was watching DnA last night because I thought I heard Zeno’s va  but it was Haruichi Kominato's va and not Zeno's/ Nori's.

Thanks for the info on Haruka. I checked and it looks like the English manga for Haruka is out of print also.

Yeah, Haruka finished in around 2009 so I guess that's 10 years. Not surprised it's out of print as it's not a mainstream series.

I can see how that might happen, Haruichi's voice is quite soft too.

I started watching Sailor Moon Stars part 2.

The Three Lights/Sailor Starlights  Seiya, Taiki, and Yaten are female but appear as males when not transformed. In the anime are they actually males when they aren't transformed instead of females just dressing as males?

I think they are actually male when they are not transformed.  If you watch the transformation sequence closely (I paused it and watched it frame by frame by pushing the pause button over and over again while it was paused-it works on my blu-ray player, I don't know if it works on all dvd/blu-ray players) the outlines are far more masculine at first and they change to more feminine outlines including hips and breasts by the time the transformation is done.

If I remember correctly, the anime does indeed have them physically change gender.

In the manga, they're female crossdressers instead (i.e. physically female, dressing/presenting as male). I like the manga version better :p

Thanks Carrehz. That's interesting that the anime has them physically change from male to female but in the manga they are females presenting themselves as males.

Just tried to access the Funimation site to see if they had anything going on and it said I was 6254 in line to access the site due to high traffic.     I've never seen that on their site before.

Just tried to access the Funimation site to see if they had anything going on and it said I was 6254 in line to access the site due to high traffic.     I've never seen that on their site before.

Someone on another site I post at said that Funi was having some issues generally.
I dunno if something is going around but I was having some issues with a different streaming service tonight, had to restart a movie 3 times -.-. Maybe it's related.

Their website has always been wonky for me, especially on my phone.

Hulu has added episodes 14-25 of 2019 Fruits Basket. Hopefully I will be able to watch a few episodes soon. 

I have 2 episodes left of Sailor Stars part 2. I rarely get teary eyed when watching anime but there was a part in Sailor Stars that made me almost cry.

I'm glad your copy of Sailor Stars part 2 will arrive soon. I think you will enjoy the most of the episodes. the last few episodes are intense.
