Hey! I would really like to be a part of this, but I'm not sure if I'm still going to be living on this coast at that time. That being said, if I *am* able to attend, I'd have no problem paying admission and bringing store-bought food. (I can't cook to save my life!) I'd be up to bringing my boyfriend and he'd probably be open to going, but getting him over to this coast is another story!

Hi, I have the 1991 Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White. They are near mint and have all accessories. I might even have their original boxes. I can post a pic if you're interested in any of them.

This is what I wrote over at the MH LJ:
I just got one over the weekend (Kalani) and my Bf hates her! LOL The quality isn't the greatest, but I've certainly seen worse. I would say the face paint is really well done and probably the best part along with the super detailed boots. I'm really liking her day face at the moment, but the other face is so evil looking, she'd be a great villian for MH! I think it's the sharp angles that make the face so severe looking. The lack of articulation is a bit weird considering the body is so similar to MH, but hey, it's a knock-off. The clothing is okay, but has some unfinished seams that get on my nerves. As for the hair, I picked one whose hair covers the wig caps really well. The green one seems like a really good nylon, but green streaked white one is the crappy nylon. Also, while they are styled in pigtails, they do not cover the other face in the back! That was another thing that freaked my Bf out! I think the wig caps are too big to properly fit MH, probably because the Mystixx heads are so large.
On a side note, I met a woman shopping for MH when I was picking out my doll and she was really taken with the Mystixx! She loved the 2 outfits and wigs and said her teenage daughter might even like them because of the creepy double faces!
I'm also starting to wonder if the other two girls will ever be made, because all the places I've seen them for sale (both in store and online) only have Kalani and Azra for sale. Also, when mine rang up at TRU, it was listed as "Mystixx Vampire Promo". Hmm...

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I was wondering if anyone knows if Lyra and co. are shipped in their own case? Because in the last week, I have been to Targets, KMart, Walmart and TRU and found nothing. I went to Walmart 2 days in a row (for new Monster High exclusives) and the first day there was only one Applejack. They reset the second day I went back, and the hooks were full to the brim with Mane 6 wedding ones. They even had a full box of the big plushies, so I'm fairly certain that no one got there before I did and bought all the new characters. So bummed right now not to be finding anything.

I feel really upset now. I had an item in my cart, so it would hold my account for me. I actually got to the Scarah page and place it in my cart, but I went to remove the other item. Now I'm stuck in that refresh page becuase of it. I'm sure I'm going to miss it because of this. I'm so sad...

Congrats on everything! Are you planning on keeping the SSC's, because I'd definitely be interested! I collect "Nirvana SSC's", so even if you are keeping them, I'd love to see some close up pics! It's possible the blank one is from Argentina or even Guatemala!

Heart Throb is my childhood favorite. <--- points to avatar, that's me on my birthday, Oct. 15, 1987 with my most wanted pony. I just adored her in the cartoons. It's kind of funny since I remember really not liking the color pink as a child, go figure! I started collecting in '86 and I didn't even know she had a glittery version until I saw her on the backcard of my other childhood favorite, Medley. That made me love her even more! A MOC SS version is my grail, so if anyone has one, please let me know!!

I think she's adorable! I'm not surpised she has an older body, since Hasbro has been known to reuse things.  Also, she's just a display mock-up, probably not intended for mass production, so why would they go through the extra trouble?

Mine always occur when I sell vintage Strawberry Shortcake items. Come to think of it, when I bid on them too! I can't say how many times I was either outbid by a 0 feedback person who went NARU or a had people bid on my stuff and not pay. I don't know what it is about vintage SSC that keeps attracting them! I even wrote in my listings that 0 feedback bidders would be cancelled, but they did it anyway at the last second. :/ Oh well, at least eBay caught them and I got my fees back.
