I do have to wonder about his mane and tail hair, though. I HOPE I'm seeing that wrong, but is Hasbro not using regular nylon pony hair on the Prince? It kind of looks like TROLL DOLL hair!

Oh, and is it just me or does the male pony look like it has 'troll hair'?  You know, the fur type hair those troll dolls have.

Yeah, you know, it's the sort of hair I imagined the toys would have if they wanted to be styled just like the cartoon, before I took a good look at real My Little Pony toys with their long, thin hair.  But this "prince" pony's tail actually looks longer and fuller in his cartoon image!

The hair looks kinda like troll hair in the pics.... No troll hair please. Other than that it looks awesome! If they make a boy pony mold they will use it more than once. Are these fashion style size ponies?

Ooooooooh  very exciting!  It'll be wonderful to be getting male ponies in the line again, and I hope that means possibly a Big Macintosh figure later!    Thanks Hasbro and thanks for the pictures! 

(I don't think it's troll hair, even though the shine makes it look that way. I sure hope not anyways!  I think it's a light greenish streak maybe with the picture flash shining on it at a funny angle to make the blue underneath look feathery.)

While I really love the two ponies (from what I can see of them, at least) I'm kind of upset that they come with that huge castle that I already know will cost way more than I can afford to spend on toys, not to mention that I have no room for it. I had this same problem with Rarity's carousel. I don't have room for it, but I wanted Sweetie Swirl, so now I'm stuck with a set I don't have room for. I really, really hope they'll also release a smaller set with just the bride & groom and maybe a cake accessory or something.

I wish Shining Armour's outfit looked closer to the art of him and the hair looks weird, but I guess it's ok. At least it's a boy pony. And I doubt Hasbro would make a new mold (which I hear is expensive) and just use it once, so there's a good chance we'll get more boys in the future. Princess Cadence looks great, though.

Ahah, and I just now notice the drawn images of Shining Armor show him in a whole jacket complete with sleeves, while what the toy is wearing only covers the front of his chest.  I guess the jacket would have been too involved for kids to take on and off...
