Baby Firefly puffy sticker - back is clean and still very sticky

This sticker was stuck to the bottom of Baby Firefly's crib since the 1980s. The crib is smooth plastic, and when I peeled the sticker up I found the backing was white and still very sticky. The only residue on the sticker back is around the edges (see photo). I put the sticker on waxy clean paper from a sticker book so it can be easily removed and used. The front of the sticker is clean and bright, but feels dimply when you run your finger across it --  the dimpling seems to be around the pony (perhaps the pony is supposed to be raised and that's what I'm feeling?)
