Title: Need help remembering an old toy horse.
Post by: SwiftStar84 on April 07, 2016, 03:44:57 PM
Ok I have been picking my brain for quite some time about this one and I am just totally lost. As a kid  (in the 90s) I had this toy horse. It was about the size of a Barbie horse so bigger than a MLP and bigger than a GC. It was white with pink hair and tinsel. It had glittery swirls on the flanks and the forehead and there was a jewel in her forehead. She had a carrot which you would stick in her mouth and feed her among other things like a saddle. She talked and responded to things you did. I do not recall the company that made her.   Can anyone help me I am at a bit of a wits end.

Hmm, she might have been a knockoff. None of the FSF to my memory had articulation or magnets. May have been a Matel.

I know she wasn't articulated. And she's past the age of FSF. Just trying to find her or any info on her has been difficult. Not sure she was Mattel but it's been so long since I have seen her I am totally in the dark...

Nope. It wasn't a Barbie horse but it was made around the same time as the Flying Hero horse.

There was some cartoon back then called Starla and the Jewel Riders. Was Bella Sarah around in the 90s?

Could it have been Dazzle my magical talking pony? I have one and she is the size of a Barbie horse and was made by Hasbro.

You're welcome, I actually have her, I like to think of her as MLP's long lost twice removed cousin from the Dream Beauty side of the family. LOL!
