here's how she looks after about a week of sunfading, it's more obvious in person but the yellowing has faded a good bit!!! i might need to get some hydrogen peroxide for parts like the tips of her ears though, they seem a bit stubborn lol

i'll try sun fading her first then, i should put something over the eyes to protect them from fading too right? and i'll be sure to keep her on a separate shelf away from anything she might get dye on!

picked up this girl (and overpayed for her) at the beach, didn't realize just how bad of a condition she was in, and am now doubling down by spending more money to dye and re-root her even though i've never done either of those LOL

i wanna make sure her color is as even as possible before attempting to dye, so what would be the best method for this particular girl?

I remember ages ago there was a G3.5 rainbow dash plush on Amazon listed for 1 million dollars by a seller that legitimately thought it was worth that much, i even managed to dig up a photo from the original thread (photobucket watermark thankfully doesnt obscure the price lmao)

What an awful story! :cloud:
I'm glad they don't seem to be a hardcore pony collector today, that would be even worse. Still, a rare collector's item is a rare collector's item, so that's sad somebody took advantage of her kindness to steal Baby Moondancer. I hope your friend magically finds her in a second-hand shop for under a dollar, haha!

YEAH i was so mad at that dang rich child when i heard the story :C and that would be amazing lol

Rika the Furby God?

i uh. kinda have a habit of spamming my friends with weird pictures of furbies lol. many, many pictures. i have a folder of with over 100 of them.

also, i forgot this bit

Pony Corral / How my friend lost her childhood greek baby moondancer
« on: March 22, 2021, 08:33:14 AM »
(and then suffered even more after she found out how much she was worth)

this all took place a while back on a discord server me and a bunch of my friends are part of, the topic of ponies came up and my friend lamented about how she lost some childhood pones of hers

we then tried to figure out the id of the only one she could remember, which i recognized from a vague description as being baby moondancer (which i used to have until my mom's dachshund ate her)

and based on that my friend was able to find the exact one she used to own

and thus she was rewarded with even more suffering

Sunny's eyes are.... very close together. Izzy is pretty cute but she looks like she's Seen some things

I'm... definitely getting a "show for preschoolers" vibe from the art style. like it looks like dora the explorer to me LMAO

that being said, the designs themselves look pretty nice, good variety and visually interesting! also HOOVES! we'll just uh. see how that art style translates to toys i guess
