i haven't seen the princess' yet, but i've seen the regular ponies, the blind bags, and the blind bag deluxe sets.That is awesome :) I always have to ask for price match to at least Walmart's price
so far i totally love them.
though when i bought a bunch of the blindbags today, they didn't ring up. they were on sale for a dollar or so off, but i couldn't remember. so when she asked me how much they were, i said i'm not sure, but i know they're on sale. so she gave them to me for a dollar.
not sure if i should feel excited or guilty.

Saw the Pinkie & Helicopter and Fantastic Flutters today (and by Celestia the QC on those is AWFUL. 2/3 Cadences had big decal flaws, and I'm just hoping with the one I got that the dirty smudge is on the inside of the box and not the pony itself. The Twilights didn't look much better =/ Hopefully this shop just got a dodgy batch or something).I saw them all today too, in Entertainer. I didn't check Cadence as I was in a hurry, but Twilight was in terrible shape too, and I'm not normally one to scrutinize for these things - But these dirt stains/poor paint were obvious from a distance :(

That's a real shame. I was hoping that this one had just gotten a bad batch >.< I wish Hasbro would sort it out; having to wash a toy right out of the box is really unacceptable.

Haha, I don't think they are going to release a Rainbow Power episode. A year of two ago I seem to recall them telling collectors that they were going to start making the line reflect the show more. Doesn't seem like they ever did that. Unless they count narrowing the line down to just the main six and ceasing production of other ponies.

It seems a little too complex and specific to just be a throwaway design for this one line of toys, but who knows? Sometimes the packaging gets changed a lot for something that isn't directly in the show. Heck, Pinkie Pie's Boutique is completely irrelevant and wayyy out of character, but it still gets highly specific colours and new designs. We'll just have to wait and see. ;)
Nothing at our Target yet- and I recently had to drive waaaay out of town to the nearest Kmart- who was similarly deprived.
I will admit that I'm looking forward to that Rarity quite a lot- even though she does clash with her self most horribly- somehow the wings make the colors blend a lot better.
I already snagged Fluttershy from Taobao- she is so stinking cute, even with her silly mini-wings.
I actually can't wait for the little mini packs- like the pack with Daring Do and Chrysalis- and I love the way the Twilight Sparkle alicorn mini mold too- so cute!

What's th difference between the brushables and the crystal empire brushables? They both have tinsel...The tinsel is different. Plus Rarity has blue in her mane.

Can anyone who owns the FS Rarity, Stylin' Fluttershy, or the single confirm - Are their bodies matte like previous releases or shiny? I noticed my Fantastic Flutters are shiny, but wondered if this was just these two.

Ive been in Oldenburg / Germany today and found Rainbow Power Twilight Sparkle there (no Cadence though) ! My husband got her for me <3 She was 10€ (pretty expensive considering shes not that special or big or... well. But its Twilight and thats my favourite of the main 6 so im happy to have her <3That's not too bad of a price! That's only about $4-ish more than the US price of $8.99, but I agree there isn't anything too special about them to warrant a higher price other than the fancy wings.

Yeah they're £7.99 here which is £3 more than the regular playful ponies. I don't mind paying a tad more considering they're so pretty, and I believe the Glimmer Wings ponies were around that price originally, too? (Unsure, I only bought one recently and she'd been reduced to £5 ^^)

My Fluttershy with the paper mask has the wide-eye design, I'm a bit of a Fluttershy lover and hadn't noticed this until the other day so I had to buy her as I will collect repeat ponies but only if there is a difference (such as tinsel hair, eyes, pose etc)

Hold the phone! Why does Twilight have a yellow streak in her hair? Is it just me or it the coloration and cutie mark just as important when defining what pony is who? Does that even make sense?

It seems that all of the Mane 6 have gotten special makeovers for the Rainbow Power line. They all have stripes of different colors in their hair and crazy patterns all over their bodies. I think that they're only temporary changes for this special line.

I'd say maybe it was a mistake, but the front of the card has the ~Rainbow Power Smear Thingy~ on it so...it's clearly for a RP set -_- . It really doesn't make a lot of sense to begin the Rainbow Power line dotted with old releases, nor re-releasing part of a wave right after that wave has finished (Famous Friends is still shelf-warming, even when the sets are on sale it doesn't shift...)

Target had the flipping Dash, FS Fluttershy and Rarity, and the singing equestria girls. They have annoying voices and are awful singers. If you make a singing doll, record a voice that can actually sing I bought Pinkie, and the button for the voice is really sensitive, so I just ripped the batteries from her thighs (which were enormous because of it). Her hair is really curly, frizzy, and un-soft, and because of the speaker in her head she has no hair on the back of her head. It actually looks really kinda dumb with her mostly bald. But she has feet! :biggrin:Can she stand on her on? :P
