Which dollyhair matches Magenta Bow Tie, LD, etc?

i have a baity italian lemondrop with a very very short mohawk and a missing tail so i thought about rehairing her with magenta hair as i will never be able to afford the real one

which dollyhair color would be a match for magenta LD or italy magenta bow tie (thinking about making a magenta bow tie custom too)

my picks are: heartthrob (maybe too light), BOUGAINVILLEA (too dark), SUGARBERRY (too red?), hot lips (too.. dusty?), candy kiss (match??), old bubblegum (too light?)

first answer - magenta for lemon drop is the same color on the italian magenta haired minty and the yellow italian moondancer (I'll see if I can update with pics of these three loverlies...) so thinking dollyhair that corresponds to moondancer would work?  Any other customizer/restorers have ideas?

Oh = so that's a vote for  a blend of watermelon martini and venom :-) OR maybe you could just get a couple tails from baity US moondancers and repurpose those

That's funny timing on your part as I know I am looking to redo an italian lemon in darker purple hair to match her drops (right now she's a "daddy" in the herd with her butchered mane - but not sure if she likes that position being around all the other prettied up ponies ...)

i just compared my CP italian bow tie to italian moondancer (i do not own the US version) - its almost a match, moondancer is a little lighter.

RAZZLE DAZZLE is described as an exact match for moondancer on the dollyhair site.

a comparison pic of US moonie with magenta minty would be AWESOME!

the italian "moondancer red" is unqiue like some of the other italain colours and therefore not quite the same shade as the hong kong moondancer red.

i think MCM's suggestion of watermelon martini or zora's suggestionf of razzle dazzle would be suitable as a subsitute

Razzle dazzle is a 98% match if not 100%. I have a minty magenta Bowtie and the DH hair color. I have put them next to each other, and the only reason in my mind it might not be 100% is cause I'm crazy! that and I think it's just the new hair next to 80's hair. hope it all works!
