You got me all excited for a second thinking the rainbow ponies were out.

At the rate we seem to get merch around here, Q1 2019 might be the earliest I'd expect anything new. You'd think we'd have better turn over in a major metro area, but we don't.
Oh, well: gives me time to save Target gift cards.

They have officially confirmed UK as being Europe for the Rainbows so I imagine so.

I am happy about this. It suggests to me that they've listened to our solidarity and get that we all want everyone to have everything. And it will be interesting to see if the boxes are translated like the Rainbow ones or not...I might be tempted to get a Minty to debox as I have kept my US in package.


Next project is to broaden their distribution so that unmentioned countries thus far don't miss out.

Everyone should have ponies. All ponies. All ponies for everyone, everywhere!

...Although, with all of that said, right now I would settle for a when exactly the Rainbows WILL appear (not vague periods like 'Spring') and which stores in which countries. Because as much fun as it is hunting for ponies, it's not practical to be everywhere at once just in case.

More useful info please, Basic Fun - we need to know where we can buy them so we can, you know, buy them.

And most important to me - if we are getting the collectors and the Rainbows - does that mean we're on course to get Glory and Medley's set as well? I've already said if this set comes out here I will be emptying the store shelves of them because I will want all of them and at least some to debox as well...but if they're only in the US I will have to choose only one or two

Late to the game but I finally find some of the collector pose ponies at Target!  I grabbed Minty and Snuzzle... they're so cute and made me very happy.

Nope. It's annoying and tantalising, isn't it? We know they are coming, but not when and not where. It's turning into a rather irritating treasure hunt. Some clues would be really nice...

I know some of the stores that carry other products by this same company, including Smyths and Entertainer. But as yet, no firm information on where we're going to find them

It seems the current problem is not really when the ponies will be released but rather which retailers are going to pick up the toy line. Some collectors have tried contacting Basic Fun for stocks to sell, but they don't do small distribution channels. They only want the big fishes, and with the economy the way it is currently, and TRU - a  major distribution channel on the way out of existence, I think Basic Fun is having difficulty getting their products out on the shelves, which explains how slow moving it is. Even at Target, they are often in the backrooms and not on the shelves. Chances are if you walk in with the DCPI, they can find them in the back, so the Basic Fun products never really have much shelf presence, even in an economy as big as the USA.

Hopefully with summer underway, and the retailers stocking up new toys for the holiday season, the demand for Basic Fun ponies will pick up and present themselves in droves. I don't think I'm crazy about the Rainbow Ponies (Sunlight and Moonstone look off to me somewwhat), but I really do want a new Medley, Glory, Moondancer and Sunbeam. Fingers crossed.

The first Target I checked today didn’t have any anniversary ponies but the 2nd one I checked had another full set of six.   Somehow Bluebelle, Cotton Candy and Snuzzle jumped in my basket and came home with me.

You know, I checked that site literally just yesterday. The link you posted didn't work for me but I did find her under her name so I wonder if the others are there.

So retail looks to be £12.99. Better than expected. I'll take that. Though I still expect stores to make it £13.99.

Hoping we might see them in other stores before 1st July, but I guess I'll take that too.

What's interesting is it says can be delivered to the UK mainland. What about Northern Ireland? O.o. Are they cut out of this? I realise it's complicated but economically speaking it's a UK territory?
