My first thought on the title was "Gremlins 2: The New Batch"

I'm fine with the show being like FiM... I just wish that they had gone with a different design for the characters. We pretty much got by far the worst from the ones that were leaked. I just don't much care for it.

There were so many neat designs in the leak, but alas we get the one that I cringed at.

I am very, very late to noticing this.

I think I might be past watching any MLP stuff unless it gets rave reviews from the community because the level of apathy this fills me with is just too powerful! I don’t even think it looks bad or anything, and hopefully kids will like it but I just cannot bring myself to care.

If the toys are nice I’d be happy to pick some up though!

He appears to be the blue pony in the very back of the advent calendar packaging. Makes me wonder if any of the other ponies pictured here will be in the movie/show. Maybe the pink pony next to him is Sunny's mom?

• Pegasi can't fly anymore since magic is gone, so they use wired instead
• Pegasi live in Zephyr Heights. I believe another source said unicorns were from the Bridlewood Forest. So the locations in the movie we know so far are Maretime Bay for the earth ponies, Bridlewood Forest for the unicorns, and Zephyr Heights for the Pegasi. I quite like these names, and the glimpses of the backgrounds we've seen so far. Much better than "Manehattan" or "Las Pegasus"
• The pony on the far left of the picture activity appears to be a new character, as she doesn't match any members of the current cast. Perhaps she's the white pegasus with the purple mane on the far left of the advent calendar? And maybe she's Zipp and Pipp's mother?

There's also a listing for a sticker book, which has bios of the main characters!

So both Zipp and Pipp are actually princesses. Yet up till now they were only using the Princess title for Pipp.

So they are officially still using the term 'cutie mark'. I guess if it's a continuation of the Equestria world, that makes sense, but I was really hoping that term would just go away.

Its a cute activity book, little kids will enjoy it. They are pretty fun, I loved em when I was little. 

I wish they'd drop the forced horse puns, and every pony. So stupid. Zephyr Heights is a nice name. Cutie mark, as obnoxious as it is, is a G3 era thing.

Its flat out dumb that pegaus can't fly.  I don't recall the G1/G3 ponies having that issue.

I like the "everypony" thing - I just don't get how it's supposed to be a replacement rather than an alternative for things like "everybody".  I feel it works better an alternative to "-one" and "-body" as using them as suffixes doesn't scream out "human phrase!" like phrase is like "Lend me a hand" would - I know we don't say things like "everyhuman", but I think the "everypony" thing works, it sounds enough like "everybody" and the like to sound natural for me.

People likely know I love the term "cutie mark" by now.

I don't mind the horse puns if they're done right - G4 got away with it most of the time by not being too forced in my opinion.  When  they over did it, or did more things than once in the same name, it was much... I dunno, I just never had enough of a problem with it for to see much of a problem with it.

I respect your opinions though.

Zephyr Heights does sound like a good name - I agree on those who don't like and/or aren't sure about the pegasi being unable to fly because of "magic" though.  They did something like that on G4, didn't they?  It never sat right with me - pegasus magic should be... something, but it should be what makes them fly, in my opinion.

Eh, I'm not really too concerned about pegasi not being able to fly. That sounds very much like a point of conflict that's going to be resolved in the movie.

I just never understood why "everypony" was a thing in the first place. "Everyone", "everybody", HOW are those words human-specific?!? Ponies have bodies!! It just sounds so weird and forced to me, it's unnecessary. I'm annoyed to see it show up in this gen, too.
