TRU so overpriced !!!! :(

I was just at TRU store and they bumped even more the prices on everything on the MLP FIM line
the basic brushables are now 7 dllrs, Zecora is 18.99  , the favorites set is 49.99  ,the train set exclusive is 55 !!!!

I was looking for the christmas decorations set but they did not have it, I was just in shock of all the increases they have now.
Target still has the 5.04 price for the basic, Walmar still  has them for 5 dllrs
we should sent them a letter  LOL

If you wanted one of the expensive items, they run sales often enough Buy one get a second for 40% off or something.

for the stuff that is not exclusive, I just go to Target or Walmart and find them cheaper Shoot, sometimes even other places like Walgreens or Kohls you can find them cheaper too.

Last time I was in TRU was when I bought Zecora and she was 9.99.

I haven't been in there in about a month but maybe it's just TRU in your area.

The online prices for some of the stuff looks about the same to me.

I don't have a local TRU.. there's one in Toledo, Ohio which is about 20 minutes to a half an hour away. I don't go there often though because for the price of Gas and the prices of the toys in store, it's just cheaper to shop at walmart/target/meijer/kmart/etc. I hate that they have so many exclusive toys though. Not just ponies either.. It blows. Because if you buy it on ebay... it's EXPENSIVE.

I'm still waiting to get that Winx Bloom/Skye set..

and Monster High Werecat twins. 

Is the pinkie pie and friends collection toys r us exclusive? Because it was going on my Christmas list and I really wanted it.. But I don't think family would be willing to make the trip. Not even sure the prices on that.

I do not have a TRU in my town and the closet one is an hour away. I want to go and visit it soon, but the prices that I am reading on it make me think its not worth the drive.  Pretty sad that the prices are going up again

Uhm wow that is insane!! We got my Zecora for $5 and the Fan collection for $25!! No way I would pay almost $20 for ONE pony

I was at TRU last night & they still had Zecora at $16.99. The 3 packs of blind bag sized figures were $7.99 ($1 cheaper than Walmart) & Fashion Style ponies were $14.99 (same as Walmart, $2 less than Target). I didn't notice the prices of the other items, but I know they are generally $1 or so higher on brushables (compared to Walmart & Target). I was actually surprised to see that certain items were cheaper at TRU since they are usually more expensive.

Wow!  I thought $16.99 for Zecora was high!  Imagine when it gets closer to the holidays.

I was just at Kohls and the regular brushables were 9.99 there!

FYI, FAO Schwartz has Zecora for $9.99 still, both online and in their ebay store.

I know it doesn't help with the TRU exclusives, but they will price match - so if you see a deal at say Walmart or Target in their flyers, you can get the better price (if you like shopping at TRU)
