Title: Identify Help : Zebra Pony Like Toy + New One
Post by: ColdRuru on May 17, 2017, 05:43:11 AM: I've got only one "pony" from my childhood, and it's NOT an official My Little Pony.
Plus it's a Zebra.

It's Pony size,
It's brushable like Pony,
It's kind of similar of what a Pony mould could be,
It didn't look like a fakie toy but more like a brand of something' toy,
It's just marked "made in china" under belly (it helps a lot lol),
I come from Europe, so it may be a European exclusive for what I know.

Post by: The_Loner on May 17, 2017, 06:05:41 AM: I remember seeing a zebra like that at a fleamarket back in 2000. It was at a booth where they had a lot of MLPs and imitations. I bought all the MLPs but didn't get the zebra and have regretted it ever since! I'm in Denmark, so also in Europe.

Yes it can be an animal that comes with a doll, but I always got the Zebra only so no clue of wich kind of doll/brand.

So sorry for all of you that want one of those zebra (or other animal) because, they didn't seems to be that easy to find. And I've got thru a LOT of thrift shops and secondhand market, never found another one or a clue about.

If they're not labeled TNT on the animal I don't think they are made by the same company.

I would be interrested of the pictures of your boxes if you don't mind. It could be a start...

And yes I'm happy to have kept it, as I do not have so many toys left from my childhood and that's probably the only one I cannot identify :blush:

I just have a problem to read writings unders belly & other, I'm never sure of what I read, because it's tricky.

Oh my goodness, I had quite a few of these when I was little! They came in various different sizes. I remember several came as free gifts on some sort of horse-related magazine. I don't know anything else about them, but it's made me happy to see one. I wonder if I still have mine somewhere....
