visitors can't see pics , please register or loginDidn't expect to find her, but aparently my grandmother spotted a bag of ponies at a thrift store while I was looking for interview clothes. Most were fakies except for a G3.5 Scootaloo, a 2012 Mcdonalds Applejack and....this beauty. Had to wash her because there was also a sticky Lemonheads at the bottom of the bag which caused everyone to become slightly sticky, but other than that, this is my very first ever Newborn Cuties figure!!

I think my favorites of the alpha pokemon are the middle evolution of Happa/chickorita. It just doesn't make any sense at all looking the way it does, but I want to think it's a possible prototype for the flabebe line.
Another one I like, and I can completely see why they didn't go for it is the twin ghosts pokemon that are before Girafarig coincidentally. They look way too close to Gastly, but I can't help but love them anyway. Maybe if they were in the games, they'd get an ability when G3 rolled around where sometimes they'd do more damage by chance because they're working together instead of fighting with each other, but also have a slightly lower chance to do 1/2 damage because of the opposite.
But by far, my most favorite alpha pokemon is Dandemew, or proto-hoppip. It's part cat, part flower, ALL ADORABLE!

Alrighty. I'm gonna treat her as a fakie anyway, and put her in my fakie shelf because she still looks like she fits even if she isn't one, but that's the kind of confirmation I needed. Should I remove this thread, then now that that question has been answered?

Also, by 2010 Hasbro was phasing out G3.5 for G4, and she fits neither styles.
Pretty cute, though!

visitors can't see pics , please register or loginFound her in a bag of toys my grandmother was going to send to my first cousin once removed (That's my first cousin's son) and found this cow. She's made of the same slightly higher quality material some of the better molded fakies have, and her stance is reminiscent of, looking up on the wiki, most closely resembling the Sweet Breeze pose from G3. Not to mention, she's got a heart reflection in her eye. Her belly is simply stamped in the mold with "©2010 CHINA", and her head is moveable. I'd really appreciate knowing if she is considered a fakie or is just a a cow who coincidentally slightly resembles a pony.

Is it just me or do the patches on her body and head kind of line up, like they were deliberate and not just age or botched custom work... Like staining from paint that was removed, or faded pen marks? *Shrug*
Looks that way to me, as well. The splotches (The really red marks that look like rust stains) look a bit like thumb prints. I do also kind of agree that I think the purple parts might also be regrind. I juat had no idea that could happen in G3 ponies yet.
