Sell or Trade? Right now I generally prefer to sell. Please feel free to make offers if you don't like my pricing, I'm flexible! You may also be able to tempt me with trades - my pony wishlist is here and my dolly wishlist is here.

Payment & Holds: Payment is by Paypal. Prices are in US dollars (if you’re in Canada too we can figure out the equivalent CAD instead). I can hold things for a few days if needed.

Shipping: I’m in Canada and international sales/trades are welcome - I'm always happy to ship worldwide. For sales, the buyer pays shipping. Parcels under 1kg/2lb can ship via Canada Post Small Packet Airmail (no tracking) which costs in the range of US$6-13 to the USA. For within Canada and for other countries, the postage is generally in that range too, but varies more depending on weight and destination. I can also ship with tracking, but please be aware that Canada Post’s tracking is pricey. (Please note that if you don’t have any positive trader feedback on the Arena, I will only ship with tracking.) For trades, I am happy to each pay our own shipping as long as it's not too unbalanced for either of us.

Condition: I do my very best to describe everything, but please ask me for more details if I haven't been clear about something. I don't want to mislead or disappoint, so I certainly don’t mind looking over something again. I'm also happy to take more photos/closeups. Everything comes from my non-smoking, cat-inhabited home, but in some cases I am not the original owner.

Earth Ponies

Tootsie $2
Body nice, slight head/body mismatch: head is yellower. Has a few smudges on her side/belly, a pink mark on her belly, and a few black flecks around her forehead, eye and neck. One age spot on her NDS back leg under her symbol. Eyes great, symbols great with a printing error (one lollipop stick is doubled) on her DS. Hair shiny and soft and nice.

Bow Tie (darker blue version) $0.50
Nice vibrant blue body but head mismatch (lighter). Clean but has cancer: one big spot in the middle of her back, one little spot inside her right front leg/tummy, a little spot under her chin and one by her ear. Faint cancer spots seem to be starting all over her head/shoulders and around her tail. Eyes, freckles and symbols are nice. Hair a little bit dry but pretty, aside from the cut forelock.

FF Blue Belle $0.50
Probably bait, though she's got flat hooves, so I don't know. Dingy. Purple marker stars on her left side and some faint marker on her right side. Yellowy stains in places. Hooves and rump discoloured. Marker on bottoms of feet. Nick out of left front hoof. Eyes and symbols fine. Mane and tail shiny though dry at ends (and crazy).

CF Blossom $1
Okay body color though somewhat dingy. Right side has yellowish spots. Neck is smudgy/dirty on the non-mane side. Eyes are nice. Symbols are okay but a little faded on the left side. Two pen marks on the left side: one a line on her shoulder and one a dot by her symbol. Mane is soft and shiny, tail is dry but shiny.

Pegasi

Firefly $2
Light dirt/smudges all over, especially at front hooves. Some ingrained dirt in her front legs, especially the bent one. Head is a slightly brighter pink/body is a slightly dingier pink. Eyes are good. Symbol glitter is thick, but one side has a scratch in one lightning bolt. Hair is soft, shiny and nice.

Precious Pocket

Bunny Hop $5
Nice creamy off-white, head a slightly off shade—pinker compared to body. A variety of little scattered black and brown marks (none of them cancer): DS neck, muzzle, nostril, forehead, back of ears, front right leg, back right leg, chest, near mane plugs. Pink "highlighter" mark on left front leg near shoulder--don't know if this is regrind or actual highlighter. Eyes perfect, symbol paint perfect, hat still firmly attached. Has string but end is frayed and bunny is missing. Hair lovely and shiny, nicely pink--pinker than it appears in the photo. One section of mane has been cut shorter (a pink lock near where the purple starts) but it's not horribly noticeable as it's on the underneath side.

Bubblefish $18
Really lovely. Body a nice bright pink, with a few smudges: one on the front of her neck, one on her DS shoulder, one in the middle of her back, and a small one by her NDS eye. Has a tiny white mark beside her mane plugs--bit of paint? Slightly uneven plastic between her shoulders, looks like a mold flaw. A scratch 3/4" long on her butt near her symbol, not very noticeable. Symbol is perfect, bowl still firmly attached though a bit yellowed, fish instact on string, knot is a bit frayed. Eyes perfect. Mane and tail shiny and beautiful, tail a bit dry.

Princess Brush ’n Grow

Glittering Gem $10 (barrette for sale too, see below)
Super gorgeous. Body lovely except for some brown marks on her NDS wing and a brown streak down her NDS shoulder. (The wing spots look like the same type of mark as the streak, not cancer.) Eyes perfect, symbols great with a small scuff to one heart on the DS. Forehead gem very nice, with light scuffing/scratching to the iridescent coating. Hair is beautiful, tail shiny and lovely, mane almost as nice with slightly crinkled tinsel. Mechanism still works!

Body is lovely, just some light surface dirt mostly around her neck, and under her hooves, and a tiny bit on her DS cheek. Symbols nice and glittery, especially on NDS; DS one has a bit of wear. Eyes perfect. Hair lovely and soft and shiny, but tail cut to knee-level.

Nice purple body, dirt and smudging all over but looks like surface so it should clean up well. Symbols are nice and glittery; there's a little green mark in one, but they're not rusty. Eyes great. She's got a major hair cut; mane is mohawked, tail is cut overall and is super short underneath too. Awesome rehair candidate?

Good creamy yellow. Mark on left side of neck. Black dot on right cheek and on right/front neck. Initials "BJ" in black marker on bottom of right hoof. Right ear is dark at tip. Eyes are nice. Symbols faded but still there. Mane nice and soft (crazy messy right now), tail soft with slightly dry ends. She's pretty nice on display.

Dingy but even blue color. A few marks, some on both cheeks. Eyes are nice. Symbols are very faded, the silver especially, not much glitter left. Mane is nice though a bit dry. Tail is gone and has been replaced by a pink/purple/blue braid of some sort (washer is rattling inside).

Flocking soft and nice, a bit thicker on body than on head. Small rubs on the usual spots: ear tips, lips, nostrils, hoof edges. Eyes perfect. Hair is faintly pink (pinker than the photo shows); tail somewhat pinker than mane. Shiny hair, a bit dry. Has tail rust starting.

Coco Berry $2
Head/body mismatch; head has a greener tinge. She has a few scattered dirt and/or ink marks all over, including one by her ear (see photo; that's the worst one). Symbols have a couple of light rubs. Eyes are good, one has a black speck in the corner. Hair is quite pink (especially her tail) and shiny, but mane is dry/frizzy. She still smells good!

Silky Slipper $3
Body in great shape color-wise and legs move well. A few marks: right front leg, cheek, lip, back of left ear. Pen line on forehead. Eyes are good. Hoof bows have some rubs. Symbol (on the rump of her leotard) is great. Hair feels dry and is tangled but looks shiny. Tail rust is starting. Displays really well.

Twice as Fancy

Dancing Butterflies $5
Lovely. Nice yellow body with a few smudges here and there, especially one streak down her NDS neck near her mane plugs, some to her chest, and little ones on her forehead. Tiny wee red mark on her lip and one on her raised-leg knee, blue mark on the underside of her NDS wing, and a little brown fleck (not cancer) on her NDS neck. Eyes and symbols are all perfect. Hair is super shiny but a bit coarse/dry. Possibly tail rust starting? She's gorgeous on display.

Sweet Tooth $4
Nice teal body and head. Some ingrained dirt around hooves and lower legs. Has a few marks: green ones on cheek and forehead, black streak by left ear, a couple of dots on her chest, a red streak and a black streak on her front right hoof, which also has a nick on the bottom. Eyes are great, symbols are great aside from a little scratch in one pink lollipop on her NDS shoulder. Hair shiny but quite coarse and dry, especially at end of tail.

Unicorns

Gusty $6
Very pretty. Body is off-white, a pale creamy ivory that is consistent all over, except her horn and hooves are a bit yellower. Has a black mark on her DS cheek under her eye. Her NDS cheek has a scratch and a tiny mark. Her raised leg has a pink mark down the front of her knee. Has a few other minor scattered marks, barely noticeable. Back left leg has a dent near the hoof as if her leg was a bit squished at some point. Eyes are nice, lashes on the left are slightly worn. Symbols beautiful and glittery, bottom leaf on DS is a little faded. Mane is gorgeous, silky and shiny, tail is dry at the ends.

Really really yellowed. Smudges on raised leg and head. Marks on raised leg and under hooves. End of horn is bitten off, a little bite mark to right ear, little bite marks to both left hooves. Eyes are nice. Symbols are good though not super glittery. Hair is nice, especially mane (tail is a bit dry). I'd hesitate to call her outright bait but she does need help.

Okay. Bear with me, this is complicated, but I really need advice.

I recently put up for auction a vintage catalogue that's 12"x16" and 1" thick and weighs about 1.5 kg. I put it up for $10 starting bid just to see if there was interest, plus set the shipping cost to the US. (I ship worldwide but only set shipping cost to the US in my listings, for everyplace else it's "Will ship worldwide--contact seller" and I calculate it on request.) I figured I'd probably ultimately end up taking this thing to the thrift store because no one would want to pay crazy postage to get it (to the US is $25), but while I had free listing fees I figured it wouldn't hurt to list it a few times first.

The listing ended on October 27 with no bids. Early morning on Oct 28, I got two messages, an hour apart, from 0-feedback members with very recently opened accounts.

As I'm certainly not about to make any outside-of-ebay deals, I replied to each with this: "Hi, thanks for the message. I have relisted this item if you are interested in bidding. Please note that as this catalog is very heavy, shipping to China will be around $60." And figured I wouldn't hear from either of them again.

Well, I didn't hear from either of them, and the relisted catalogue again eventually ended with no bids. I relisted it one last time, last Sunday, and it ends tomorrow night (in 26 hours). This afternoon, who should bid on it but 0-feedback user #2.

So here's my problem. If this bidder (let's call him "him") does win (and I'm pretty sure he will, I don't think there's anyone else interested), do I just send it to him as normal, after invoicing him for $10 plus $60 for shipping like I estimated for him?

I am really concerned that this may be a scam of some sort, though, especially because not only is he brand new and has no feedback, but another account from China, made just four days earlier, also asked to buy it off-ebay literally an hour before him. Something about this feels really off to me  I'm worried he will try to claim non-delivery with Paypal and I'll end up having to refund the item price PLUS the shipping and I'll be out $70. Because here's the thing, the $60 shipping I estimated doesn't include tracking, because (stupid me) I didn't even think to look up how much tracking would cost to add (I usually ship without tracking because Canada Post charges an arm and a leg to add it, and I'd never sell anything at all with how expensive it'd be, so I take my chances and have never had a problem til now--and I generally sell smaller lighter items anyway, this is a very heavy exception), since I didn't think in a million years he'd bid on it.

Anyway, I don't much feel like taking my chances this time, so I have sure as heck looked it up, and shipping it with tracking will be $90.

So then. (Bless anyone who's made it this far.) Should I invoice him for the $10 + $90 shipping instead so that I can ship with tracking, thus giving me Paypal protection should he try to claim non-delivery? Will that get me in trouble with ebay since I replied to his earlier message saying shipping to him would be "around $60"? That was my guesstimate, not a firm quote, but I don't know in what light ebay will view it. Can I tell him something like, "Shipping to China is unfortunately actually $90. I know that's extremely expensive, so let me know if you would like to cancel the transaction."

Or, should I just end the listing now and cancel his bid (and immediately take the catalogue to the thrift store because I'm not going through this again)? I don't want to get negative feedback, of course, but at this point really I just really don't want to lose a ton of money If I end a listing early/cancel the bid, does that bidder have the opportunity to leave feedback?

I'm going around in circles here trying to figure out how to deal with this. Any help would be SO much appreciated.

There was only Fluttershy and Pinkie in the single ornaments, $7 each. The little box has five ornaments in it (they left out RD!) and they were ALL falling all out of place inside the packaging, I couldn't find a single one where they were in place in order to take a proper pic! They were $10 per box.

There was a little version of the four-pony design as well, but it was shelved for some reason in a different spot and I didn't get a picture of it IIRC, it was around $10 for the big stockings and $6 for the little.

I managed to walk away without buying anything... but I think I'll be stalking the after-Christmas sales!

I'm downsizing my collection a little bit again, and I've amassed a whole pile of G4 accessories that have to go. Now, I assume their collectibility is pretty darn low, and figured I'd price them at 25 cents to a dollar... but then, we all know how well assuming tends to work, right?

So please, share your knowledge with me... which G4 accessories (brushable-sized, FS-sized, BB cards, whatever!) would one be crazy to sell for under a dollar?

Thanks to someone on the DollyMarket, I just saw that there's a number of Ai dolls (2008-2009 releases) available on Tuesday Morning's website. They're under Kids (yeah...) > Toys (yeeeah...) > Jun Planning. They're just $29.99! Thought there may be some folks here who'd like to know 

Since the Tuesday Morning site won't ship to Canada, I'm wondering/hoping if they will also show up in the actual stores... and if so, if they'll show up at Winners in Canada like the Peter Pan series Pullips did! I'm not going to hold my breath, but I'm still going to look-- *crosses fingers*

(Meanwhile, if anyone does happen to see this girl, Kangaroo Paw, it'd be amazing if you could pick her up for me at cost...  )

I've just sold a lot of 4 comics on ebay, and I clearly stated in my description that they will ship in a stiff cardboard envelope/mailer. The buyer just paid... but he wants different shipping. Instead of messaging me to inquire about different shipping FIRST and then letting me invoice him with the revised cost!

He left a note telling me (not asking  ) to ship them in a box with padding. I don't have a problem doing that, but the shipping in that case will be $16, not the $8 as stated in the listing (and he already paid). Canada Post is crazy expensive like that.

So how do I handle this? Explain this via ebay messaging, and ask if he wants to pay $16 shipping instead? And if he does, do I refund his entire original payment and re-invoice him with the new shipping? Would I do that through eBay, or through Paypal?

And if he doesn't want to pay $16 shipping, do I just ask him to cancel? I can't afford to pay double the shipping myself. But if I send them the way I stated in the listing and he paid for (cardboard mailer for $8) I'm afraid he'll leave negative feedback. 

I don't know what to do but I want to do it the right way, lol. Thanks anyone for any advice, it's much appreciated

EDIT: okay, so I panicked and called eBay just now. They told me I can invoice him for the extra $8 shipping through Paypal, if he agrees. So... now I've politely messaged him explaining this, and I guess I wait and see if he agrees?
